Sadie got the story & The Man she deserved. These quirky shoot from the hip characters were fun to watch fall hard in love. I would love to see these characters again! Also, more of Elliot & Smoke!

Fun and low drama for 18 and above listeners!
I think that Marie is actually an early-20s man as her writing definitely seems to have a male perspective. Some female readers will not like the perfect h, while the other women are awful or whorish but after going through certain parts a second time, I don't think she intended it to read that way.
I liked both characters and the supporting cast and also liked that it was not overwhelming with drama and constant negative internal monologues.
This is definitely written for 18 and above.

I hear Sadie narrating her own story.
Met Sadie in other books, so I was excited for her own HEA. She's a special character. I like the story and enjoyed this performance so much. I will replay this through the years. I imagine Sadie narratingng this story, already knowing it is her and her HEA, so the softer tone is appreciated.
