Publisher's Summary

First book in the series The Arathians

Lacy Woods thought that there could be nothing worse than being stolen from Earth by an alien poacher, until she's thrust onto the auction block and sold as a slave on an alien planet. Standing on stage surrounded by the galaxy's nastiest criminals, she has little hope.

Kor and Ty are a mated pair that have been searching throughout the galaxy for a species that can save their race from extinction. They never expected to come across a rare Earther female being auctioned as a slave. Unable to deny her exotic beauty, and a chance to test her DNA, they buy her. What the males don't expect is the intense lust they feel for the small female and the protective urges that tell them to keep her safe at all costs.

When enemies close in on Earth, Lacy will need the Arathians’ help to protect her planet and the males she has come to love.

Great story.

I really loved this book. I was hooked as soon as it started. It's not a normal genre I read but throughly enjoyed it. Loved the characters. Wish it was longer.

Corny and badly narrated but good smutty fun nonetheless. Take it for what it is and it's enjoyable.

Very light reading/listening

Story & performance doesn't begin to have the depth of Grim, but ok as filler. Glad I bought this on sale.

Good story ok narration

The story is good but the narrator gets too sing/song at times. It makes the character sound whiney instead of hurt or sad.

A GOOD SCI-FI MÉNAGE & THE START OF AN ALIEN QUEST

I really enjoyed this Sci-Fi romance, yes at only being 4.36 hrs long (or short?), it did suffer from the lack of some in-depth details but for the most part it was a very easy flowing erotic listen. Lacy has been kidnapped from Earth and forced into an unbelievable new galaxy containing all things weird and terrifying but, as she stood on the Alien auction block waiting for her fate to be determined as food or slave, in walks her salvation..... two gorgeous huge green eyed Warriors.

Kor, the very Alpha Captain of the Adastra spaceship, and it's Medical Officer/Scientist (and his mate) Ty have been on an endless mission spanning years to try to find the genetic answers that'll save their dying out species the Arathians and are investigating the planet Vox when a fevered commotion draws them in. One look at the beautiful, frightened and vulnerable Lacy is all it took for their instant lust and protective natures to kick in and they knew they had to save her and have her (in all ways).... but they didn't realise that she was going to be the answer to their prayers as well as the Arathian's salvation.

This listen caught my attention from the start and kept my interest - it had drama, action, tender loving M/M sex scenes (but not full sex) with passionate and hot M/F/M love making as Kor and Ty both eagerly welcomed their new mate. Then some shocking but happy news resulted in drama, tension and a battle in the skies to the death ensued as the committee of the Galactic Alliance of the Planets, and it's multi-species politics, decided on the fate of Earth. And this will, no doubt, continue in book 2 which I'm happily and eagerly about to start listening to.

Worth a credit? Great narration, triple POV's and a loving and very sexy ménage made this, for me, a creditworthy listen and there was good world and character building descriptions but because of it's shortness, it sadly just couldn't cover everything. So a longer, more in-depth start to this series would have been better but hey it is what it is..... an enjoyable erotic dip into an alternative Universe and thankfully book 2 is a little longer.

I agree with the other reviewer Don't Bother

Would you try another book from Nicole Krizek and/or Philip Alces?

The narrator sounds as if he is reading a children's story instead of a erotica book (extremely annoying)..

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Philip Alces?

Robert Petkolf

Any additional comments?

Overall just a poorly written book. I wish there were more character development and a story line that makes sense.

Oh dear...

I've really struggled to listen to this book. However, I would consider buying this book and reading it myself.

The narrator, Philip Alces ruined it for me ... 😞

Alien Saviour??

Having recently discovered 'Alien Erotica/Romance' I must admit I'm enjoying most the books that I have downloaded so far. This book was ok but a little crude for me, not much romance just lots of sex in various forms.
