Romance in the Canyon
A soft romance is the best way to describe the kick off for this series. I enjoyed the story. If you want something to kick back to on Sunday afternoon then this could be the book for you if you like cowboys. A strong testosterone hunk of a male and a woman who has found herself again after abusive relationship. The narrator grows on you and I found myself wanting to know more about family. Steamy hot nope. Genuine old time romance yes. If on sale it is an okay listen.

Excellent story, bad guys, good guys, romance!

This book is well performed and the story is truly enjoyable. I liked the characters. The only reason I did not give it five stars for the story was that it could have had just a tad less sex and still been just as romantic and the rest of the story would not have changed at all.

Riveting story from beginning to end!
Great writing and wonderful reading combined made this book hard to put down. Kat Martin balanced action, suspense, and romance to deliver a story that kept me on the edge of my seat. If the story had a dull spot, I didn't find it!

The narrator did a good job. The heroine in this book was not my favorite. Whiney is not quite the right word for her... but something about her rubbed me the wrong way.
I'll keep reading the series though. We shall see how it goes.

Keeps you guessing
This was the first time I have read this author and I was pleased with the book. The narrator, jack garrett, has a great voice. I rated the story 5 simply because the author did a great job with all the little details.I would be listening wondering something about how the character would develop and before long Martin would tie it all up very nicely.

I have listened to everyone of her books and I love them all. I do like Jack Garrett's reading. Some people don't but I love his voice.
I wish Audible would get more of her books and get them in order.
If you not into sex then you may not like Kat's books. However I love the romance and the suspense with it.
