Cute clean read enjoyable

Any additional comments?

This was a cute clean read which is very enjoyable about a woman who helps a friend who is a geek get the girl he wants. As in most short stories you cannot say too much or it gives the story away. It was a pleasant listen that is entertaining over a man who doesn’t have a style finding away to get to the heart of the lady he loves

Max was just a dearly of a man who doesn’t have a clue how to make a girl like him. Jen doesn’t like the way he is treated and decides to give him a helping hand. Both of these character are wonderful and the story very believable. The supporting characters are nice and add to the story. There really wasn’t anyone I really didn’t like.

Susan Soriano does a good job with the narration but there is some kind of noise in the background. Once you get into the story you do not notice it. She did a good job with the characters and their voices. She put good emotions in the listen you had no trouble working out who was talking or what they were feeling. She has a clear and pleasant voice you will enjoy.

This is the first time I have listen or read anything by this author I thought she did a great job getting her point across with very good writing. As with most short stories I found the ending a little rushed. It was a wonderful ending that you won’t see coming. The whole book will make you smile and at times make you chuckle. It was a pleasure listening to how things went and how the geek got the girl. The question is which one he truly wants. I recommend you give this a listen for those times when you have something small to do and might not have the time to really set. It can easy be listened to at one setting and is very entertaining.

Love It

This was a new to me author and I can't wait to hear more. The narrator had a great voice and it flowed very smoothly. I'm definitely interested in the other stories of her brother and friends.

Sweet Innocent Romance Good As Young Adult Too

Jen has returned home for a few weeks over the summer. She has a job lined up for the fall so she thinks she'll take it easy and enjoy her two weeks.

On the beach one night she sees a couple of her classmates, Melinda and Max. Melinda
makes Max the butt of her joke and Jen cannot stand it. She is out to set things straight for Max.

For the next couple of weeks, she coaches Max on everything in love. From pretending to be his girlfriend with smoldering kisses, to walks on the beach and more.

Melinda takes notice and decides that Max is the only one for her. So she and Max begin dating. But after every outing, Max runs to Jen to find out what he should do next and report on how the date went.

Jen begins to wonder if this matchmaking is her style. Her two weeks coming to a close and real life is to start setting in. Was matchmaking all that she had expected and more?

Susan Soriano was wonderful and took the voices of the young characters into account in her performance. Good job!

This is one of those books that could be categorized as young adult, as well as contemporary romance, as it goes past nothing but a few kisses.

Notes: There is nothing to warn about here.

Rating: If this went by the movie theater rating system it would be PG

Stars: overall four, performance 3.5 to 4 & story 3.5 to 4

In the categories that I marked 3.5–4 is because this is a story that is relatively "cookie-cutter" with no surprises or twist that you don't see coming. A very nice listen all around.

After Paradise

It was a nice small town romance, about a nerd and a popular girl, who eventually fall in love. It was a short story, which is probably why there wasn't a lot of character development, and plot twists. Overall, a good read.

Gook book!

I liked the story. The characters were interesting and I enjoyed the interaction of all characters including the secondary characters. The concept was fun and the story was well written. Loved the narrator and her narrative including voice changes to match story and some sound effects! Received audible copy for honest review!
