Renee Lockhart has her eye on a lofty goal - to fill the open position of morning radio show host at the station where she works. When her co-workers sign her up for a local TV version of The Bachelor, Renee goes along with it in order to raise her profile. Upon seeing her bumbling audition, Ben McConnell, one of the most eligible bachelors in town, insists that Renee be placed on the show. But Ben gets much more than he expected in Renee - he gets a girl who can't seem to do anything right - and a girl he can't seem to resist.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Chucking as I read many antics of Renee in front of Ben. The two sign up for the local Bachelor -type show for the same reason, to improve their image. And then the fire begins, literally. Fun and sassy this book gives an entertaining read. Even when the expected happens, the writing satisfies. I'm looking forward to more from Brooke Williams. PG13. Great humor and well written passion .
This was a really cute book. I really enjoyed the humor and the sweet romance. I thought it was refreshing to see a character totally being herself rather than trying to impress someone and doing what was expected. She gets herself in lots of awkward situations, which made me laugh out loud. I listened to the Audible audio version and the narrator, Susan Soriano, did a great job. She sounded exactly as I would have pictured the character. This was just such a fun book, and if you're looking for a light rom-com, you should check this one out.
I loved this comedy romance and the main characters, Renee and Ben. The plot scenes are like the tv show, The Bachelor. Even as I rooted for Renee, I felt for Eva. Eva needs a story of her own. Brooke Williams did a great story. This was my first audiobook and my first read of this author. I was gifted this audiobook. Thank you, Brooke William!
This was a really fast easy listen, with likeable characters and unexpected plot twists. If you are looking for romance while balancing it with a strong female main character, this book is for you.
