Very Sweet Storey 💙

I really enjoyed this second installment in the "Seasons" series. I liked Celia in the first book and it was nice see her get a happy ending.

Could have been better

Story was ok, nothing too special or unexpected, but I didn't like the narrator. The reading was too slow and I couldn't wait for it to end. It was hard to finish but I did.

Best story of the series

I liked this book best of the Seasons series. I hesitated purchasing this book because the narrator, Danielle O'Farrell is awful. Even at 1.2 speed, she is hard to take. The women sound pitiful and the men sound cold.

The story has two silly women,

The story is about two silly women, who we are supposed to be brave and smart. The female characters are weak and should have a back bone with some inner strength and determination in them beyond romance.

Sex, lies and true love

Started a bit slow and uninteresting. After a couple of chapters it became much better and the ending was somewhat realistic but unexpected since I never imagined the heroine be willing to take on such a tremendous change. I kept hoping for a Cinderella story where the hero was discovered to be the bastard brother of the Duke due to the resemblance and then the crown giving him the dukedom after years of great service and recognizing the relations to the duke. Or better yet the second book should have been about the Earl and Celia actually falling in love and the third book could have been about the sitter of the Earl. Oh well. One can only hope :).
I admit the last book was vastly more interesting and this book was a step below that and I have no interest in the next book in the series.
