Publisher's summary

In the fourth installment of the bestselling Royal Wedding Series comes a sweet holiday romance. Avery Truitt aches for true love—the kind she once shared with Prince Colin. Can she dare to hope for happily ever after, or is a fairy-tale ending beyond reach?

College volleyball star Avery Truitt has not seen her former flame, Prince Colin of Brighton Kingdom, since he suddenly pushed her away five years ago. But now, the sadness of losing her father and the joy of her sister Susanna’s pregnancy have brought Avery back to Brighton just in time for Cathedral City’s enchanting Christmas season.

Avery knows she can’t avoid seeing Colin—now the Kingdom’s most eligible bachelor—whether or not her heart is ready to relive the pain. But seeing him again might bring her the closure she needs after all this time.

When Colin finds himself at the center of a centuries-old Brighton tradition, he must decide whether to follow the path laid out before him or follow his heart to the only woman for whom he would ring the Pembroke Chapel Bell.

Can Colin convince Avery to meet him at the chapel on Christmas morning as tradition dictates, or will Avery run back to her St. Simons home and pursue a coaching career as planned?

Good story but ..,,,

Loved the story but not the narration. It was hard to figure out which character was speaking and the story would change and I would realize the character speaking was not the one I thought was speaking.

Poor narrator

Narrator has good voice but no ability to tell a story or portray a different character. The narrator in the first 3 books was wonderful. This one was very hard to gillow

Beautiful story, terrible narration

This was a great ending to the series. Loved the story and the message inside.

Unfortunately it's not the same narrator as the other three books. I hate it when they do this mid-series.

This narration was rushed and the narrator didn't distinguish between character voices at all. At times it was confusing who was speaking.

You'll enjoy the story but be happy, but it's not as easy if a listen as the other three books.

Great story; disappointing performance

I have listened to all of Rachel Hauck's books- this was disappointing because with the other books had different voices for the characters. This book made me think the person reading it was in a hurry to finish and everyone sounded exactly the same. I hate it was disappointing because the story was so sweet.

Terrible narrator!

The book is wonderful! Love the story! But the narrator is TERRIBLE! She never changes her voice for characters. It’s hard to tell who’s talking in a conversation. It was as if I had read the book out loud. I wish someone would re-record this book.

Love these books.

This series is wonderful. However, this books (#4) narrator sounds like Siri. It was hard to get into the book because it sounded so robotic.

The story is magical, and shares what Christmas is

the story was fantastic, however the narrators voice was anything less. Unfortunately I found her voice to be very monotone and I almost stopped listening to the book because of it.
however, the story is uplifting and makes you see what Christmas is all about.

Excellent story, horrid narration

If you've ever thought to yourself "I wonder what SIRI would sound like narrating a book?" This this is great for you. This is such a wonderfully romantic story, but the monotone of the narrator sort of kills any romance vibe. It's almost enough that I wouldn't recommend this recording. It's very different from the other stories in this series that are narrated by Eleni Papageorge.

...narration is monotone, unchanging—even with different dialects!

I am in the middle of reading, yet, I still can say with confidence: The narrator will not improve. It's monotone, even unchanging with each new voice dialect. Voice is thin, uninteresting. I flip-flop between being irritated & finding my mind wandering. For this reason alone, my rating is low. Let me say, I loved the first three books in the royal wedding series! I think Rachel H a UCK is a gifted writer. Not sure why she switched to a different near raider for the last bit. I Believe that decision needs to be re-made thought through more thoroughly

Great Story. Terrible narrator.

I had a hard time following the story because the narrator was awful. I couldn't tell one character from the other.
