Great series

Great continuation of book one. But some unresolved issues I hope are in the last book.

Narration slow, but storyline is good

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Same as book 1 & book 3, pauses in the narration mid sentence or when someone is supposed to be cutting in on a conversation.

Book 2 The lights of Lowell Series

I liked this book better than the first book in the series. Lots of characters with intertwined story lines. I am left wanting more, hoping those missing will be found. I am ready to dive into book 3!

Very enjoyable!

What did you love best about A Love Woven True?

The writing is so descriptive that I found myself in another world and the characters are
so believable that I quickly related to them and their situations. Since I'm a history buff, I particularly enjoyed the political turmoil that was going on pre-civil war and how families of the North and South dealt with slaves and the Underground Railroad.

It was interesting to see how a Northern woman's love for her freed slaves and their child completely upset her Southern family.

Lots of historical information about this time period. Well written and interesting.

What did you like best about this story?

The characters - each so different in speech and mannerisms.

What does Linda Stephens bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her readings enhanced the emotional feelings of the characters. Enjoyed the Southern conversations.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was saddened by the way slaves were treated, even the freed slaves, knowing how long it would be before they would have any rights.

Any additional comments?

Excellent book. Not preachy at all, but shows characters living in hard times depending on God for guidance and aid.

The love and family.

Love the books, 1-2 but wanted Moses parents to be released from Slavery Again.

A Love Woven True

I thought the story line was wonderful. It just could have used a better narrator. I recommend this writer try Chistina Moore as a narrator for her books.
