Publisher's summary

Owen Wright, alpha of his wolf pack, hasn't seen jaguar shifter Gabriela Segura in nearly 10 years. She was his first love - until he did something to drive her away just as their relationship was heating up. Now Gabriela has returned to Montana, and his craving for her is stronger than ever....

But a recent string of brutal attacks on humans have the wolves suspicious of the jaguars, threatening the tenuous peace between the packs. Before he can claim Gabriela as his mate, they must join forces to prove her family's innocence and track down the true predator.

Gabriela comes home to quite a shock.

Short and sweet with a some danger and some steamy sex scenes. Gabriela (jaguar shifter) and Owen's (wolf shifter) quick progression to mates seems justified given the backstory presented in the book. It was very interesting to finally learn ther truth behind the human murders and it definitely wasn't something I expected. While I figured it wasn't a member of Gabriela's jaguar shifter family and was instead an outsider, I wouldn't have guessed the motive. This was an enjoyable quick read with a HEA ending and no cliffhanger.

While I liked the narrator's (Alexandra Fisher) voice, it didn't have much for range. The male voices sounded much like the female voices and the voices of different characters also sounded very similar.

Steamy Paranormal Series

A really steamy little shifter romance. Just enough story to keep things interesting and a fair share of hot and heavy action.

Gabriella is just the kind of gal I love, smart confident, sassy and independent. Owen is a perfect match for her and has to work hard to win her over.

A really nice read, I wish it were properly marked as a series because I accidentally read the second book first.

I listed to the audio book and the narrator does a night job but it isn't anything special, the characterization a were basic and I found they sounded very similar.

A Jaguar’s Kiss

This was a short but good audiobook. I was shocked because I wouldn’t have thought I would like a shifter book.

Intrigue was well done

Some of these quick reads are purely about character, but this one has a good plot, with enough intrigue to keep several characters busy, and to reasonably keep Owen and his old flame interacting with one another.

Narrator needs practice

This is an older book so maybe the narrator was new. The story was good except for the chat jumping to conclusions without asking any questions. That a teenagers trait that leads to trouble. Most adults grow out of that and ask questions before drawing a conclusion.

The narrator doesn’t even attempt a male voice so all the characters sound the same, like a girl. She also says the authors last name incorrectly. I hope she got better.

Short and sweet

I really like this author’s shirt and sweet approach. It’s easy to get a book knocked out while food prepping! Nice. Of course I’m a huge fan of shifters

What a disappointment... not worth the money

What would have made A Jaguar's Kiss better?

A better plot

Would you ever listen to anything by Katie Reus and Alexandra Fisher again?

maybe

Would you be willing to try another one of the narrator’s performances?

sure... she wasn't the problem

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from A Jaguar's Kiss?

The whole story

Any additional comments?

Really not worth the money they ask for it
