Editing issues

Loved the author and the story. The editing is the issue. I don’t know if someone didn’t listen to it after the story was done. But there was a lot of repeating in the narration.

Narrator was AWFUL. . . story was was pretty good

Olivia's story was pretty good. Even though she was a slave, she was still a strong woman with a sense of self.
The narrator ruined it. He was monotone and dull.

A fabulous book with a great narrator

Take an excellent story add in great narration and you have Sara Field’s audible book. The narrator did a great job of bringing Ms. Field’s amazing story to life. He pulls you in with ease and takes you on this incredible journey to a new world.

still over done with wes's position

most of the sories are to one sided towards the males. and always females have no real respect ever given to the females. Big thing is that the women cave way to easily for sexual favors. I would love to see that a writer would put in some very strong women that doesn't break so fast. like a woman says, "I get excited if any man rubs me." that a woman takes a big beating because that is what they are, if one leaves a mark and one never uses more than one implements in spankings. And that a woman doesn't always break before the beatings are over.. make it hard on both sides.
