Fun Series

This is a fun series. Always great to find someone new with lots of books on hand! I have to say Cassandra Campbell, narrartor on the first book, far surpassed Maureen Jones. Maureen has a pleasant voice but a Canadian accent for a series set in Atlanta? And the word is GarAHge not Garaajj. Never have heard such a common word so mangled. Again and again and again in the book. Other than that well worth the credit.

funny speak

well maybe its just where these narrators are from but i have never heard garage said like this, gar-âj. i have an accent & have spoke a non standard dialect so i know about sounding funny to people. All the Bond books ive heard have this issue. At least this narrator has WAAAAY less than the last books i listed to.

Canadian narrator?

A book set in Atlanta should have a southern-accented narrator or at least one who pronounces words in American English.

Hate the change of reader

I like the series but I really hate the change of reader. If the main character is southern girl from Atlanta she would pronounce about as A boat or garage as garreage. It was aggregating and detracted from the flow of the book.

Good read if you like chick lit

Good book if you enjoy chick lit. The voices for each character weren't great but still a good story line.

Keeps getting better

Just when Carlotta thought her life couldn’t get worse, someone steals her identity and then jumps off a bridge. Good story!

Great Series

Highly recommend!! interesting, funny, and relatable (in some instances)!

Not your average fairy tale, but with enough feel good to keep you hoping and guessing!!

Great Story, but that Narrator

I enjoyed the story, but the narrator's pronunciation of certain words are like nails on a chalkboard. I would love to know who thought it'd be a great idea to use a canadian to narrate a setting in ATL Georgia?! The way she pronounces sorry, been, and garage is irrating and distracting!!

I'm enjoying this series

This is a lighthearted romantic comedy and I find myself really enjoying. Nothing deep, fairly superficial, but easy to get into and very entertaining. I think I'll keep going through the books.
