Publisher's summary

Missing Teal and Trent from Inevitable: Love & War? Check out Rogue in Love, the first of many standalones featuring Trent Reed's new employees!

Ten years ago, Lex was forced to skip town, giving up everything he'd ever known. But even his time in solitude couldn't keep away the memory of the girl he'd left behind. The girl who'd offered him her innocence, and her heart.

Thea had moved on from the boy who abandoned her. Good job, fiancé, comfortable life in New York ...until everything is ripped away from her, leaving her to pick up the pieces alone.

When the care of an ailing loved one brings them back to Blackwater, Lex and Thea are confronted by the pains of the past. For Lex, that means helping to heal the broken-hearted woman he left behind. For Thea, it means refusing to let him see the gaping hole his absence created.

The old feelings still linger, but only they can decide to relight the sparks, no matter the secrets and heartaches that come with them.

Really really liked it. Some humor little bit try wasn't hilariously funny or anything

I enjoyed this book a lot and I'm going to enjoy the next one about able and hope. Enjoy Michael Pauley voice he is a wonderful narrator I could do without the extra anger all it does is lead to lots of cursing kind of takes away from the book but you get it because they're so angry especially coming out of the military. The next book seems as if it's going to draw you and keep you high and suspense.

Never underestimate true love

There was nothing that I disliked about this book. The characters, Thea, Lex and Earl were very endearing. The love they shared, Earl’s secrets and the town of Blackwater made you feel like you were riding through and looking at the open book lives of its residents.

Great listen

This was a great little story with a pleasurable narrator. I have always thought of being read to as a real treat, since I was a kid. Warms my heart when a good story come together with a good storyteller. Looking forward to continue with the next book and learning about Hope!!!

ok

I liked this book and would recommend this book. I wish this author didn't use God's name in vain. You don't have to use " GD " to have a great book. I would have given it 5 stars if not for that. It had great sexual storylines and a great storyline. I wish this book was a movie.

Love Michael's voice!!

What made the experience of listening to Rogue in Love the most enjoyable?

Michael's voice as Lex and Trent was amazing! I loved the jokes between Lex and Thea!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Rogue in Love?

When Lex was in the shower trying to figure out how to shave his heavily hairy face with Thea's tiny razor and she walks in on him.

What about Michael Pauley’s performance did you like?

His sexy voice.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, it's not super long, but really good for a quick listen. I'd listen to it again.

a quick read with steamy romance

Any additional comments?

Rogue In Love ended up as one of my favorite romances from Inger Iversen. It was a quick read with steamy romance and the main characters, Thea and Lex quickly wormed their way into my heart. The history between them made their relationship all the more intense when they reconnected. I also liked how there wasn't any unnessecary drama in the story like I see too much of in contemporary romances. The author's books tend to be real page-turners and Rogue In Love didn't disappoint in that aspect. One of the best things in the book was Teal and especially Trent (from Inevitable: Love & War) showing up. It was so great to read about them, even if their appearance was a short one. I love them. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed Rogue In Love by Inger Iversen. The two main characters were perfect together. I loved reading about them. And with Lex I have a new book boyfriend to add to the list. Fans of second-chance romances will devour this story!
