Publisher's summary

The Omega Group has one purpose: to save mankind from preternatural and supernatural threats. After all, it takes one to know one, right?

Being sent home to investigate a rash of unusual events at the Grand Canyon is a mission Carter Mockta would really like to avoid. He's worked long and hard to forget his past and the reasons why he first joined the Omega Group. Unfortunately, missing people, tourists losing time, and unexplained auras are problems that can't be ignored.

Thrust into the middle of a tribal war that began over a 1000 years ago, when one God granted a single wish, Carter and his team must put an end to the vicious feud and scramble to survive as the ancient past, troubled present, and not-so-distant future collide.

The Grand Canyon holds many secrets, but one of them is far more sinister than anyone knows.

Who really is the Rogue?

The book started out fine but, there were so many hole's. The chapter's didn't fit together, and then they would ,all of a sudden tell a story. I listened( waiting for thing's to make sense) and then it wars off again to something else. I like the character's but, the book felt like it was put together without order. I know she is capable of better writing, so I will keep reading the series

Well-written shifter fantasy

This book was not as good as the first in the series for me. Maybe that is because it revolves around animal (eg. wolf) shifters, and that is not really a subject that appeals much to me. After I set that aside, I still enjoyed the book. I have to say that this writing about "animal shifters" was much better than I expected. It didn't seem as cheesy as I always thought they would. This story in the Omega Group series takes place near the Grand Canyon and involves Native American characters. I like how this series keeps adding new supernatural elements to each book, and their group gets more diverse. Overall, a good book, especially for those who like shifters and super-heroes.

The Omega Group just keeps getting more interestin

More interesting for sure and I look forward to the next in the series. Lots of action and a little romance. I voluntarily reviewed this audio book after receiving an advanced copy I requested.
