Ten cities in two weeks

Ten famous rock stars

On my knees

Against the wall

On my tits

I don't care. As long as I get the evidence to prove it.

Why?

Because I caught my former prick of a boyfriend from Heavy Metal Enthusiasts doing a groupie doggie-style backstage on the night we were supposed to be celebrating our one-year anniversary.

He told me I was too uptight.

Too vanilla.

Too boring.

So I got drunk with my bestie, Marsha West, the aspiring videographer. I ranted. I raved. I came up with a crazy idea.

What I didn't know was that my best friend recorded me. Marsha put the video up on YouTube. It went viral with 10 million hits. Now I've got fans and sponsors offering me big bucks.

Rock stars are volunteering to be my f--k buddy.

Hollywood is calling.

I get to choose which rock stars I want.

The stakes are high.

This sh-t just got real.

What could go wrong?

Entertaining Story!

Love the storyline and the narrators.
Catching her boyfriend in a compromised position with a groupie and then called boring. Raven drowns her sorrows in alcohol and goes on a drunken rant about treating rock stars how they treat women and it goes viral. So begins RFC where Raven and her bestie Marsha travels to different Rock venues and she picks which rock star she is going to sleep with. Raven runs into Lucky when he mistakenly enters her hotel room and the chemistry is explosive but she tries to ignore it for she is on a mission. Her mission gets picked up by a network and now RFC becomes a reality show, but things get complicated when she spends more time with Lucky and feelings start to develop.

Gender Equality

This is a great eye opening concept. It lays it on the line between perception of men and women sexually. Raven and Lucky find a way to make the RFC work in their favor but what if it hadn’t. Would she still have gone through with it? This is definitely what reality shows are made of these days. The chemistry between characters was great. As always this narration team rocked my world as well. thanks Michelle.

Women Power

This book was great. I like the messages , the way it can inspire you to do what makes you happy, to be yourself. It makes you think why can't women do the same things that men can without being criticize.

This is what Raven journey is about, and what RFC help her discover.

"If you keep staring at your life in the rearview mirror you’re going to crash. Look straight ahead, step on the gas and get the hell out of there.”

The characters were amazing I loved all of them... Well except for Ivan and JGB.

As for the narrattion, OMG, Wen Ross with a British accent was terrific, his portrayed of Lucky so amazing. Kai Kennicot did an amazing narrattion of Raven, you could feel her emotions through her voice. I also really like her narrattion of Sky with her British accent was great.

Oooooo loved it!

From the blurb and title I was expecting somewhat a different book. I was pleasantly surprised with what I did read. Raven was a bit scattered and was downtrodden for a good part of the beginning of the book. I was hoping for her to get a backbone and take a stand, I mean not everything is her fault. I get it though, for her she just had to grow and find herself. Which brings it back to the purpose of RFC. The Navajo aspects were heavily done in the second to the last part of the story. That could be part of her finding herself. I really loved the audio narration. WOOOO BOYY that English accent. Super hot! Five alarm. This book is most assuredly for the over 18 crowd. This book was given to me for an honest review.

Super Great!

This story was so dear to my heart. It is not very often that I can listen to Native traditions mixed with rock stars. I have been and taken part in Native American dances and weddings. Wen Ross did an exceptional job with the accents in the narration and Kai Kennicott was so exciting listening to her. Don’t miss this one!

My Two Pennies

Kai and Wen have kept me going with this story, their duo narration flows smoothly and keeps you listening. Story wise 3.7 Stars for me. I was excited hear Raven was starting up the RFC with her bestie by her side, I knew that they would be on one fun filled adventure. As the story develops and we’re introduced to Lucky and his bandmates the storyline I was expecting changes. Don’t get me wrong we’re given a sexy adventure still and it’s a good read, I did finish the book and was smiling when we reached the final stage. I was just expecting something a bit different. There’s no question about it that this is an enjoyable rockstar romance and I feel the other bandmates might hold my attention a bit more with their stories. I would still recommend you grab your copy. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

So So Good

I loved reading about Raven and her journey to finding herself. Finding Lucky and all their ups and downs and the sweetness this story had was wonderful. I love how life like Michelle is in her writing and how it is so much easier to fall for her characters because you can honestly relate to them. I loved every minute of this book and how hard it was to put down even for a second. Such a great read. I can't wait to hear this in audio or for the next 2 books in the series to come out.

Kai and Wen did an amazing job narrating this story and really helped bring all the emotions out into the world and made it all feel more real.

IMHO, RFC was lunacy, but it made one hot story!

PET PEEVE: If the cover was to portray the main H, it fails. Lucky has long enough dark hair that it falls in his face, and a happy trail.

Just like men, woman should be able to choose one night stands and not be labelled a slut. Raven is burning with anger over this after catching her boyfriend rocker sexing up some groupie. Her drunken rant about forming a Rock F*ck Club gets captured on video and uploaded to youtube, becoming an instant hit. For the life of me, I just cannot understand how the Rock F**k Club demonstrates that point. Raven publicly strips to outshine other women for the band member she chooses so he’ll f**k her that night. It’s a bit more complicated than that, but isn’t that giving the rocker what he wants anyway? The most eye-catching girl in the room? So the outcome is the same whether it’s the RFC chic or Raven catching his attention without the hoopla.

I think Raven begins to understand the futility of the mission just as her heart finds Lucky, the one man that could free her from the anger and shame she carries. Only Lucky’s band isn’t on the tour list and he doesn’t want a one night stand. Raven has to choose between Lucky and the contract she signed for enough money to save her friend Marsha from the shit she’s in.

Wen Ross does a very sexy and outstanding British accent. The two narrators together never disappoint. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Two Thumbs Up! 👍🏻👍🏻
