This is the perfect refresher course on Robert's Rules of Order. It took just under 2 hours to listen to and moved at a good pace. What made the experience of listening to Robert's Rules: QuickStart Guide - The Simplified Beginner's Guide to Robert's Rules of Order the most enjoyable?

The best part about this is how easy it is to understand. Robert's Rules of Order is not the most simple or easy to understand book, however this guide uses plain language to make understanding the rules and knowing how to use them very easy, even for those who are not particularly familiar with parliamentary or formal language.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Robert's Rules: QuickStart Guide - The Simplified Beginner's Guide to Robert's Rules of Order?

There was a portion where they did a dialog example of a meeting using Robert's Rules and using the information provided in the book. It gave great context and made it much easier to understand how things are used and progress in an actual meeting.

What about Peter Bierma’s performance did you like?

He read clearly, was easy to understand, and does not have a grating voice.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It is short enough that it was easy to listen to in one sitting.

As someone experienced using Robert's Rules in a high school Student Congress speech competition, this was a great overview and clarified a lot of things that are often difficult to understand. Whether you have experience with Robert's Rules or not, I highly recommend this guide.

Great foundation for executing democratic process

For this genre it ranks first. If you ever participate in or, create a formal process by democratic agreement, Roberts Rules is an absolute must. New to Robert's Rules of Order

I truly enjoyed this audible book, I had some working knowledge of Robert's Rules of Order, however I need a more and Daft hands on and this was a great introduction which I found very comfortable..

The narration is excellently done and the information presented is easy to understand. It’s a helpful guide.

A great intro but too much packed into it.

I will say that this is my first experience studying Robert's Rules. As a club leader I found most of the ideas too formal for the meetings i intended to use it for. This would be a five star review if it came with a simple pdf companion. Many are found with a simple internet search. As someone that has spent a lot of time in academia, I found the concepts of this book very interesting. Like all books from this publisher its a sample of a larger concept. I don't think you could learn roberts rules from this book, but you could learn if its for you.

I am familiar with "Robert's Rules of Order" because I use them regularly in the course of my job. That having been said, this guide to the ABC's of Robert's Rules is excellent! In fact, I think that this audibook is just about all a person or group needs-along with a little practice- to learn and apply Robert's Rules of Order to any meeting that might require them. The instructions in this audiobook were clearly laid out and were described in a logical and easy-to-follow manner. This audiobook is definitely worth purchasing if you want to quickly learn Robert's Rules of Order.
