Not impressed/ but good story

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The Story it self is good

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I would use fewer "god damms" they were interrupting and not properly used, just inserted to be inserted. did not add anything to the story, and was just used to many times. It's not necessary to use cruse words to make a good exciting story, the excitement was there with our them.

What about Rex Linn’s performance did you like?

Great performance with lots of characters. Good voice, He held my attention without loosing me.

Could you see Robert B. Parker's The Bridge being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

I hope there is enough Robert B. Parker material that the series can continue. getting ready to read the last one in the series. Thanks for all the listening enjoyment.

It was "ok" at best.

The way RK writes is not the same flowing story that LL used. It also doesnt sound quite right, there is too much "Virgil said" "I said" going on. It interferes with the flow of the conversations. The narrator was kind of "meh".

Cowboys and Crime

This one reads like a mystery with the cadence of a western. The acting and reading was great also

Not entirely disappointing

Narrator almost killed it for me. Does represent characters well. Barely made it through. Disappointed.

Enjoyed it

If you liked the other ones you will enjoy this one. More if the same that I expect from a Hitch and Cole novel.

Have to get used to the writing style,he said. Story had a few twists,he said, but mostly just a good light story to enjoy and then forget, he said.

great story

the characters are well developed, the story is a fantastic tribute to Parker's characters. I'm looking for more in the series right now.

Surprised me!

I got more comfortable with Rex Linn’s reading style with this book. I like the “he said, she said style, but I like when Virgil has more gun play. This book lacked gun fights but I enjoyed the story. It had a bit of mystery in this one.

After every sentence it is he said ,she said, Virgil said, very boring could not finish story

sadly below expectations

Not actually written by River Parker and simply low quality, rather boring. every sentence is prefaced or end with the words "he said" or "she said". I am disappointed.
