Loved Joe’s Grandmas letters.
Overall I enjoyed the series with one exception. Too much killing without confirmation of who they were killing, they only assumed they were bad people then saying after the fact who they were...maybe. Shoot, ask questions later.
I liked the compound they made out of shipping containers and their family life. I grew up in Medford and know the area well, my brother lives in a cabin on Dead Indian Rd. Mostly everything was as described, with a few exceptions, probably because this is fiction. This (location) was the reason I got the series.
I look forward to the next series but hope there isn’t so much “shoot, ask questions later” type killing.

I always enjoy a series ender, and yet.... :)
I always enjoy a series ender, watching plots pay off and wrap up is very satisfying and if I am lucky the author gives a glimpse at what the characters lifes are like afterwards. This book does all of that AND hints at a new series in the saga just getting geared up.

Terrific Trilogy
I cannot say enough how much I enjoyed this series.
There was always action, sometimes, sadness, and the characters were quite humorous at times.
Kevin Pierce is one of the BEST narrators and Sara Morsey did her part great as well!

Very entertaining
great story from the the end of world to how survival made the new world with the right policy on leadership rules and time in office.

not as good as first one.
but that one was hard to beat, the story was just suddenly spanning years. cant wait to hear Coles saga.

this was an amazing series
is the author took great care to close every story they could and then decided to continue the saga for the ones he couldn't I'm looking forward to listening to the next set of books

good to have a final conclusion to Joe's life!! And how nice to know that there will be an additional book about Cole's story!!! Looking forward to more from this author and talented narrator!!!
