Publisher's Summary

When a small homemade boat drifts under the Seven Mile Bridge, Jesse McDermitt doesn’t hesitate to jump in and pull the boat ashore on Pigeon Key with an injured boy aboard.

The boy provides more questions than answers. He’s believed to be a Cuban refugee, yet when he regains consciousness, he speaks perfect English, but can’t even remember his name.

Clues point to the boy coming from Fort Myers, Jesse’s hometown. After going to war with drug smugglers there, Jesse has no desire to go back. But something is pulling at his wife’s heart strings.

With only a week before he has to leave for bigger, broader horizons, will Jesse be able to solve the mystery of the “lost boy” in time. Will the clues he finds along the way lead him deeper into the world of gang warfare than he wants to go?

Things are about to get hot in the Florida Keys, and it’s not just the spring weather.

Another great addition to the series...

This is a fast paced and fun addition to the Jesse McDermott series. In this book Jesse and his crew take on to opposing gangs. They pit one against the other in an attempt to safeguard one young woman and rescue other women forced into prostitution.
Nick Sullivan does an outstanding job narrating.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Jesse and Savannah have a new family member?

RISING TIDE is the twentieth novel in Jesse McDermitt series by Wayne Stinnett. It is the 26th novel released by Wayne Stinnett during the last six years. That is a new novel every 3 months! It is amazing that he can turn out excellent novels with fresh plots at that rate. Rising Tide may be his best novel yet. The publisher's summary sets up the plot line well. I recommend this novel, this series, and the other series by Wayne Stinnett. All of his novels are fast paced and well written.

I found this series five years ago while looking for books that Nick Sullivan narrated after having listened again to the audio books written by Vince Flynn. Sullivan narrated the first two Flynn novels released in audio format. He has also released four novels himself.

These stories just keep getting better!!

Another great story from a great storyteller.
I love all these stories about Fort Myers and the Keys since I can relate to their locations as I have been a resident of Fort Myers Beach and Cape Coral for 43 years.
These stories are thrilling with the action, and heartwarming with the compassion of Jesse McDermott and his wife.

Exceptional writer and storyteller!

As a retired Marine CWO3, I’m simply amazed by the accuracy of details and the ability that Wayne Stinnett possess in developing one incredible plot after another. I stumbled on this author three months ago and have have savagely tore through all twenty books of the Jesse McDermott series. He’s an amazing character and someone I can truly relate. I can wait for book 21!! Extremely well done and highly recommended...especially to my fellow Marines!

Another good read

These books are basic entertainment. Entertainment that is definitely enjoyable. Everyone can/should get a concept of family in Jesse and his crowd/family.
