Rise of the best book so far!
i will amid this: E.G. Foley is officially my favorite author right now. Rise of Allies: The Gryphon Chronicles, Book 4 proves that in so many ways. 1: I was so happy to read this. 2: I read it 3 times already 3: I always find it so hard to writhe about the books from E.G. Foley because i love is so much. And 4: I love the next book more then the last all the time, and if i could i would give this book 6 out of 5. I am so happy about this book, and you should read this too.
What can i say about Jamie du Pont MacKenzie that i not said before? I love his voice, i love his performance and i love that he loves what he is reading. A more perfect narrater you cant find, and why look when you have it here? Jamie du Pont MacKenzie i love you!

Giggles, gasps, and new adventures!
The Gryphon Chronicles have another adventure, and this one is longer! Jake, Dani, Archie, and Izzy are back with old friends and make new ones as well. And more frightening enemies. Jake suffers the anticipation and trials of the tests known as the Assessment, hoping that he will pass muster to be considered for a Lightrider like hos parents were. There are many new adventures and his friends also learn more about themselves. While written for younger readers, the kinds of growth and self-awareness depicted are applicable to most of us. See publisher's summary for story clues without spoilers, and get on board to enjoy this fun installment with it's characteristic vivid imagery.
Jamie continues with his stellar performance which adds immeasurably to the enjoyment of this series.

My favorite one yet!
Narration - Jamie du Pont MacKenzie, Wonderful as usual.
I think this may be my favorite of this series.
The gang has to go through their magical assessments, meet the queen, deal with their own insecurities and jealousies as they witness the skills of their peers and we learn more about life for and requirements of light riders and guardians.
Two more talented youngsters join Jake and company for a magical and dangerous adventure as they travel through paintings, deal with a part troll boy, a dangerous vampire, some stinky little mischief makers and we get to spend more time with an old eight legged friend.
Such a great series, geared towards kids but is also terrifically fun for adults!
Love it!

Great series for kids and adults!
I am always looking for a good series that I can listen to with my kids. They love listening to books while they do chores or on long car rides. This series is perfect! Exciting and engaging enough for the kids, but with full characters so that the grown ups don't get bored listening, either. Fantastic adventures! I can't wait for the next Jake book!
