Right Wing AM radio style fiction.
I read the prologue on this book and thought it might be interesting. The author does write a book that's very current but it is also politically seething with a right wing bent. The President in this book isn't named Trump but the Author lets you know very clearly it is Trump. This version of our President is a wholesome apple pie all American wishful thinking version of Trump. This Trump is a poor victimised man facing the horrible NATO , UN , and Liberal globalist. It takes the guy that asked for our enemies to interfere in our elections in truth and makes him a victim of it in fiction. I almost wonder if the creation of this pile of trash was sponsored by the Russian government. There are plenty of fun and exciting moments in this book so I still think it a good read.

Decent Story
Note to all the readers afflicted with TDS: this is NOT a Trump fanboy series as far as I could tell. Since I'm not a Trump cultist I would hope that I could tell the difference. For example, there is a Democratic female Speaker of the House(similar to our current Speaker) who is dealt with in a very sympathetic and, dare I say, heroic manner. If the authors were rabid alt righters I'm sure they would have taken the opportunity to give the Speaker fangs and a forked tail. They did not. Next, the storyline of foreign election interference is not far fetched considering what has already gone on. The writing is a bit prosaic at times but very digestible. Finally, the narrator doesn't cut it despite an obviously earnest effort. He has the kind of voice the reminds me of a Saturday morning commercial announcer asking kids to buy their favorite flavored cereal. Every time the narrator reads "Boom" I have a flashback to the 1960's Batman TV show where a cartoonish 'KAPOW' would flash across the screen whenever the caped crusader landed a right hook on the bad guys. DESPITE the narrator I still rate this at four stars because I like the story.

Election Nightmare Coming True???
Well, I started this book the week of the 2020 election to try and get my mind off of the current events. Not sure it was a great idea, as I could barely distinguish fact from fiction! My husband would walk into the room and ask if it was the news! Hard to believe that this book was written a year and a half BEFORE the actual election! Good story, that starts to feel more realistic every day. I didn’t always keep up with all the characters names as I was doing other things or going to bed, but plan on getting the rest of the books!

Well performed but highly predictable.
I really enjoyed the Battlefield series as the political side of things was minimal when compared to the overall military thinking and action. The political side of Rigged could have been ghost written by the RNC and our current incumbent’s campaign committee. The fictional conservative president character is what we all hoped for, but never got, but hey.....it’s fiction after all. As is typical in this genre, all liberals are power hungry and amoral at best. All Europeans are shown as anti-American, elitist and supportive of a UN led World Government. I have to wonder if this is just thinly vailed propaganda. I recommend the Battlefield series and will sample the WWIII series in hopes of better entertainment.

They Saw The Future
Wow. Riveting. My summary is that reading this book must have been a similar experience for those that read books about the twin towers attack scenario. While I know it’s fiction, the storyline in so real I got queasy at times. One could swear certain government “leaders” read this and then made the plan work to a certain extent at this point. I bought the paperback version for my father-in-law for Christmas;!and I had only listened to 2 chapters!

good concept, poor writing and performance.
great concept and overall story, but poor writing and unrealistic dialog, paired with the voice actors lack of range, make this difficult to listen to. i feel i would have enjoyed it a lot more had i read a physical copy myself, rather than listened to this. i will continue with the series because i want to see where it goes, hopefully some of these issues will be addressed in later books.

Lacks a central protagonist and any good guys
As hypothetical or alternate political realities go, this book contains all the required ingredients to be a best selling thriller. It is however let down by its lack of a main protagonist, and most of the characters seem very thin and unsubstantial, and due to this the story doesnt exactly hook you in. So saying that it was enjoyable to a point but ultimately its pro American military stance sickened me. As the authors stack up their blocks of intrigue they paint a good picture of a world that has become increasingly unhappy with the current policies of the United States. Yes civil war and foreign interference is brewing. I must offer some praise to the authors for keeping this story as 'apolitical' as is possible in these modern times even if the book ignores issues of race and poverty. It is however virus free. I very much appreciate the authors efforts in pointing out that Americas seemingly dominant position in World Politics is actually decided by, at most 28% of their population at any given time. I got 70% through the 2nd book and have quit in disgust. Its way too pro american for my tastes. Not one character on either side thinks that a civil war is a bad idea or that a political solution should even be attempted. There are zero good guys in this book and every politician is a moron. The narrator does a fairly good job although he does eventually seem rather bland except for the sequences where he gets overly excited about the US military destroying the UN Forces.

Thrilling!
A really intriguing and chilling story indeed. It was made even better by a truly awesome performance! Harrison's witty choice of voices and commitment really sells it. Never have I heard a narrator's voice crack in shouting ("He POSTPONED the ELECTION!") That was awesome. Can't wait for all the rest!
