Wild, huge, and very horny.

Lucy

Alex Vann Haden is an arrogant prick.

Four years at the same college and he didn’t even look at me.

Six years later, and he wants me to interview him.

One week on his private island out in the middle of nowhere. Me and the man they now call "The Rhino". And, apparently, it’s not because he’s got a small brain, either.

A full-on, no-holds-barred, anything-goes exposé.

Alex Vann Haden stripped bare.

Yeah, right.

I hate him so much I could scream.

I wonder if, this time, he’ll have the balls to make me.

Alex

Lucy and I haven’t seen each other for over six years, but that doesn’t matter. I know I can have absolutely anything I want, and right now, it’s time for me to prove it.

It’s not going to take me a week, either - I’ll bet my career on that.

One day? Maybe two.

Soon enough, she’ll be struggling to resist me.

That’s the thing about me. If there’s something I want, nothing can stand in my way.

I’m an endangered species, and I’ve got to fight for my survival. Wild, huge, and impossibly horny. It's all true.

Lucy won't let "The Rhino" go extinct, even if she doesn’t know it yet.

This is a stand-alone, full-length, bad-boy sports romance including a secret baby, absolutely no cheating, and a happy-ever-after ending. It’s heavy on the steam, and has just enough sports action to be enjoyed by fans of both genres.

This was an enjoyable read. Alex and Lucy have a past, one of crushing but no action. Alex and Lucy went to college together but ran in different circles and lived different lives and so though they had feelings, they were never spoken on or talked about. Alex has had enough of the way his life is going. He's lonely and he's looking for more. The one person that he's always wanted that with is Lucy, so he makes an offer that she can't refuse and hopes that it will buy them enough time of getting to know each other and figuring out where things could go. They can't deny their attraction and feelings for long, though they both try and play that game. Things don't go smoothly for the two of them and things conspire to try and tear them apart.
I enjoyed the action in this story and we get a little football along with the relationship. The sex is explicit and fairly frequent, but not overly so. The sexual tension is throughout the entire book, so even when sex is being had, you feel the tension. There's some action and things that they have to work through and see if they can work together to deal with it. I liked this. I liked their interactions with each other, both want to come out on top, so the verbal sparring was great.
