Also, there was that strange, annoying feeling that he was being watched.... Humankind was indeed being evaluated, by the highly advanced Khantam Lom, an alien species in control of much of the galaxy.

An exciting science fiction adventure
Rhats Too! by Kerry Nietz is the sequel to Rhats. Obviously. This book picks up immediately after the ending of Rhats, so maybe a good idea to read these in order.
Matt Buzonas returns as narrator and pulled off another great performance. I really appreciate this guy's versatility with his voice.
