Determined to live a dark life in the company of the assassin who freed her from bondage, Sarai sets out on her own to settle a score with an evil sadist. Unskilled and untrained in the art of killing, the events that unfold leave her hanging precariously on the edge of death when nothing goes as planned.

Sarai's reckless choices send her on a path she knows she can never turn back from and so she presents Victor with an ultimatum: Help her become more like him and give her a fighting chance, or she'll do it alone no matter the consequences. Knowing that Sarai cannot become what she wants to be overnight, Victor begins to train her and inevitably their complicated relationship heats up.

As Arthur Hamburg's right-hand man, Willem Stephens, closes in on his crusade to destroy Sarai, she is left with the crushing realization that she may have bitten off more than she can chew. But Sarai, taking on the new and improved role of Izabel Seyfried, still has a set of deadly skills of her own that will prove to be all she needs to secure her place beside Victor.

But there is one test that Izabel must face that has the potential to destroy everything she is working so hard to achieve. One final test that will not only make her question her decision to want this dangerous life, but will make her question everything she has come to trust about Victor Faust.

Book two is far less engaging than book one. There may be more story to tell, but I didn’t find it in these pages.

Falls flat

This is a great series. The second book is even better than the first. Sarai set out for revenge and find herself in need of help, and yes you guess it Victor's to the rescue. It was great seeing Victor and Sarai back together again. On to book 3.

Great Series!

Where does Reviving Izabel rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's as good as others book purchased here.

What other book might you compare Reviving Izabel to and why?

This book actually reminds me to TV series Nikita I used to watch, because of similar theme.

Which character – as performed by Stephen Bel Davies and Kate Reinders – was your favorite?

Izabel, I loved the character development.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I love the last line: I feel perfectly safe in the company of killers. Sounds like a great tag line.

Great sequel to Killing Sarai!

Like I said in my first review into this series In The Company of Killers, every single one of the books has kept me on edge, while enjoying the story being told. Again the voice of Victor is the only thing I had to get use to. I believe a better narrator like Zachary Webber, Wen Ross, or even Sebastian York would have sounded more like "Victor". But after getting used to the narrator for Victor, I still enjoyed the story telling. I love how each character in the series has a different voice. It is not duet style but the writing is wonderful. Again the book might not be for everyone, if you don't like dark stories this might not be for you. But if you want give this series a chance you will fall into their lives very easily. In short the book is about the lives of killers.... also sex/baby/young girls/boys slave trade, powerful sadistic people and violence. Like I stated in my original review of Killing Sarai, the series continues, not all are available on audible yet, you can buy the kindle version or the paperback. Check out the author's page she keeps you updated on when the next book will come out. It is a good story very shocking, very realistic, and heart breaking. Though the characters might be fictional, the story feels very real. Which is the scariest part of this whole journey, finding out this could be happening and we wouldn't know. Enjoy!

Wow it just gets better!!!
