He falls first!

Cierra and Greyson first meet when Greyson comes to pick up nephew from school where she is the librarian. When Cierra finds out the man she helped put behind bars is being released from jail soon, she proactively seeks out a self-defense course. Greyson can't believe his luck! This is his chance to keep Cierra in his sights for the foreseeable future. He's just a little bit jealous of his coworkers with their significant others and settled lives. He wants what they have. He falls hard and fast for Cierra. His protective mode is on at all times. Sigh...

What makes this story and the entire series enjoyable is the choice of narrators. Mackenzie Cartwright and Troy Duran embody the characters so wholeheartedly. When Cierra is scared, I can feel it in Mackenzie's tone of voice. When Greyson is in protective mode, Sebastian's voice takes on this gruff, but authoritative tone.

Drama, Emotion, & Beautiful Bonds!

Revenge is filled with drama, emotions and beautiful bonds! Greyson and Cierra are a dynamic couple with robust lives and passion for helping others. As a school librarian, Cierra’s mostly quiet life is upended at the beginning of the novel and while the threat is not overt or direct, the drama and suspense builds wonderfully as the story progresses. Greyson is the ultimate book boyfriend—protective alpha with a caring soul who treats people with respect and his woman like a queen. Their meet cute is funny and sweet with a little bit of heat, and the energy flowing between them grows as the love story progresses, providing the perfect blend of all the feels and so much more.

The narrators were outstanding in their roles, bringing an entire new level of life to these robust characters. I loved listening to Cierra and Grayson interact, their internal monologues, and my favorite scene involved cake and the other Ops guys—so well done! This was such a great listen all around—I highly recommend this audiobook!

Great addition to the series

Once again the author delivers a winner in this series. If you are new to the series, Harper Security Ops is not only a security firm, but also a tactical and self defense training center.
This time the story belongs to operative Greyson West. When Cierra Wallace , a school librarian, comes to their property for defense lessons, Greyson senses there is a reason beyond just wanting to defend herself. As part of the self defense group, he gets a chance to spend one on one time with Cierra.
The attraction develops and secrets from Cierra’s past are reveal. Her good deed years ago, put a criminal in jail. But now that he’s out, her life is in danger.
Greyson will do everything to keep her safe. But will he be able to do that?
If so, will these two find their HEA or will they go their separate ways?
In this latest addition to the series, once again, the listeners are presented with well developed and likable main characters. This listener always appreciates that not only are the male main characters in the series sensitive and tender to female characters but they are also men of honor while the female characters are strong and perfect for them.

Love the performance

I’ve read both the book and listened to it. The book was great, but the audiobook, wow! There is something about listening to it when Troy Duran voices Greyson. Yep! All the feels. A great book that felt different listening to it.

Grayson and Cierra!

Book 19 of the Harper Security Ops Series by AK Evans.

Troy Duran and MacKenzie Cartwright are two of my favorite narrators. They each bring something unique to the characters they are portraying! Such a great job with this book!

Book 19 gives us Grayson and Cierra. Grayson loves his job and loves helping not only his teammates but his family as well. Grayson meets Cierra when he has to pick up his nephew from school and the sparks began to fly right then.
Cierra content with her life, laying low and doing a job she loves!

Sparks fly and love begins to bloom between Cierra and Grayson but when he past begins to show itself, she is determined to learn how to keep herself safe. Spending time with Grayson isn’t really a hardship either. After learning why Cierra wants to learn self-defense, Grayson will stop at nothing to keep her safe.
