3.25★s No war or revolution :-(
I'm a rebel! I wanted a revolution for all the people. This is just as short of a story as the others but to me it felt shorter. I feel a bit underwhelmed. I like details! How did the boys accomplish their missions? When did she change her mind & why?
I had looked forward to getting to know the characters better. When we learn an important fact about Alex, I wanted to know why he did what he did. Was there a hint of more than friendship between him & Sinna?
Biggest annoyance with narration through all 3 books is how the reader purposely doesn't begin each chapter immediately. I kept waiting & waiting. Even with my speed raised, I had to make sure my gapless option was selected. It really disrupted the flow.
