Publisher's Summary

Each member of Omega Force carries his own baggage. Most of them are running from their pasts or simply trying to forget them. One member of the small mercenary crew is not who he claims to be, however. When his former life collides with his current one, the team is drawn into a conflict that could have profound consequences for the future of an entire species. Captain Jason Burke struggles to find answers as the tight cohesion of his crew seems to dissolve. No matter the outcome of the mission, can Jason keep Omega Force together once the dust settles?

Very good series

Very atypical run of the mill, Mil Sci Fiction series, yet, it delivers, flushed out easy to root for characters, the good guys are no angels, problem lies with the villains (they are run of the mill also) yet overall, another solid installment, I like this series, at times predictable, yet enjoyable, narration is very good

enjoyed! can't wait to read the next one!

I just love this series. A nice bonus is being a blessing to listen to it with my middle schoolers and teenagers. we laugh out loud at parts and cheer for the crew during others.

Epi-Tome! LOL @ Paul Heitsch!!! LAMO!!!

What made the experience of listening to Return of the Archon the most enjoyable?

Paul has never seen the word Epitome spelled out on the screen before? What a Du-moss...

What did you like best about this story?

The fact that Paul has never seen the word "Epitome"

Which character – as performed by Paul Heitsch – was your favorite?

The part where he pronounced Epitome as "Epi-Tome..." What a dumbass?

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When the pronounced the word incorrectly for the 2nd or 3rd time?

Any additional comments?

Doesn't anyone proof read/listen to these?

Best one yet!

I really enjoyed this one. Jason and his crew had so many problems it was crazy. First they had to go to Crusher's home-world and break Crusher's mentor out of prison, and to find out Crusher was like a king to his people. Then Jason's ship, the Phoenix, was stolen, along with Twingo and Doc. Then Crusher was stabbed in the chest. If it wasn't one thing it was another!

Just a mention of romance between Jason and Kellea and the F-bomb was used 7 times.

As for the narration: Paul Heitsch does such a fantastic job. Everyone has their own distinct voice.

another good book in the series

Sometimes his book reminds me of the old movie serials with cliffhangers and reoccurring characters in hidden evil but not too dark. iI's a fun book and a fun listen with a pretty good story just had realistic expectations about what type of book it is.

Excellent chapter in the series

I liked the story arc, character development, and less confining aspects of this part of the series. As always, the narration was great as well.

Bit of a light romp

Paul Heitsch performs the book quite well.

The story is pretty simple, as are the characters. In fact I was sure I had seen similar plots in H Rider Haggard novels. Lightweight but entertaining enough.

Again the characters are pretty simple and could come from Central Casting. All round easy on the ear.

As I have come to expect, this book has kept me hooked, and has me now searching for which book is next in the series.
