When a Dark Web site called #WWTLF, or Who Wants to Live Forever, directs participants to Grove, Idaho for a drug challenge, Idaho State Police investigator Johnny Lister finds herself responding to overdoses in her little town. With the county also experiencing an increase in overdoses, Johnny works with Deputy Brad Chambers to find out who is selling lethal fentanyl-laced heroin in their area.

But the summer gets busier when Johnny discovers that someone is poisoning one of her mother’s former associates. Now Johnny is racing against an unknown timetable to find out who wants this woman dead when everyone in the victim’s life is an enemy.

When one of her poisoning suspects commits suicide and leaves Johnny the note, Johnny realizes that there is a secret that goes much deeper than the reason her victim is being targeted. What she discovers is a tragedy she never saw coming.
