If you or someone you love has Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), the genetic condition that is passed down from one generation to the next, please keep reading. RP is not funny as it can be the cause of loss of vision, either in adults or children. Its effect on vision can be slow-moving or it can progress very quickly.

The author has been affected for over 30 years and understands the emotional toll this condition can have on the newly diagnosed. This book was written to shine a light on the humorous incidents that have happened (shared by the RP community), and hopefully help to educate the general public, friends, and loved ones on the humor that we see in our everyday lives. A vast majority of RP sufferers do not lose 100% of their vision.

humor always helps

I know someone with RP and I found this audio helpful.
Most people have or know someone who has a health issue, and this book shows empathy.
Humor helps deal with the curve balls that life throws at us.
The anecdotes are amusing and brought a smile to my face.
I recommend this audiobook.

I can relate

I have done many of the the things it talks about in this book. If you know someone with RP I think it’s a good way to get a better understanding of their day to day. I have a ton of funny stories that could be added. It was nice to hear about people doing the same things I have. made me feel not as alone or less goofy. I don’t know how to explain it. This book gave my friend hope

I have a friend with this issue, I could tell it was bothering him. I knew that the first thing is mindset. I gave him this book and it really changed his thought process. He is ready to deal with his issue and start moving in the right direction, If you are facing this issue I highly recommend you start your journey here.

Eye Opening Subject!

I had never heard of Retinitis Pigmentosa before listening to this book. Not only did I love this book because I was able to learn about a new genetic condition that I was unaware of, but the author's stories are hilarious. I love books that both educate and keep you engaged through humor.

Great Listen!!

First I loved how easy it was to listen to. Great Audio! Although I don’t have RP (I’ve heard people who do), I loved the stories and had some good laughs. Highly recommend!

Uplifting!

Several times, I burst out laughing! I really enjoy listening .here are a lot of interesting stories in this audiobook from different people who have this inherited eye problem. Anyone, not just those with retinitis pigmentosa, should listen.

So I never heard of Retinitis Pigmentosa until I listened to this audio.

This is a chronic hereditary eye disease characterized by black pigmentation and gradual degeneration of the retina.

Although this is a serious eye disease, the author makes light of real life situations to make listeners and those who may have RP, not be depressed, but have some hope.

A good listen to, to stay positive during lifes challenges.
