The second and final installment in the two-book series, Apocalypse Chronicles... Kennedy and Harrison's fate is uncertain now that they have been forced into a landscape swarming with Infected. Yet, with her military background and his superhuman abilities, they begin to rescue survivors while they search for one person in particular...a scientist capable of developing a cure. What they are not prepared to find is the truth...that both play far greater roles than either ever imagined in their attempt to save humankind. I forgot this was being narrarated by Virtual Voice. I hate that because good human narration, by people with unique speech patterns can be very enjoyable. The story was good, a little to simple in sections, but it was interesting and a bit unique. And it wasn't very dark, which makes for a nice break from the norm.

Pretty good book, but I just can’t get into the AI generated audio. Words are mispronounced, there’s no tone in the voice.

Good book-bad narration
