Publisher's Summary

The Montgomery Ink series continues with the so-called sensible sister and the one man she never should have fallen for.

For Thea Montgomery, baking isn't only therapeutic, it's also her dream job. She's worked countless hours keeping her bakery afloat, and now that it's where she wants it to be, she's ready to expand and take the next step. When it comes to work and her family, she's on top of her game. Her personal life, however, is a different story.

When Dimitri Carr isn't teaching and hiding his ink under long sleeves to keep the bosses happy, he's trying to be the best brother and friend he can be. After his divorce, he'd thought he would lose Thea from his life forever because she's his ex-wife's best friend. But now he's free, and the two of them realize they want to keep their friendship. Then he finally sees what he's been missing all this time.

But there are more problems than the fact that Dimitri is Thea's best friend's ex. And when accidental touches and flirtations aren't enough for either of them, and they're finally ready to take the next step, they'll find out exactly what that cost is for crossing that line. And they will need to find the strength to face it.

Love when least expected

Thea and Demetri were long time friends. He was married to her best friend, Molly. One thing leads to another and they fall in love.
Molly, says that she is okay with their dating. Is she? There are a lot of twists and turns and a lot of innuendos, a lot of loving and a lot of support from both the Carr’s and the Montgomery’s.
I loved the audio version of this story.. I would definitely recommend not only the audio and book versions of this sooty but the whole series.

Loved Thea and Dimitri! Amazing!

This is the second of the Colorado Spring Series. It’s Thea and Dimitri’s story, they have been friends for a long time but it has been strained a bit since Molly and Dimitri divorced because Thea is not sure how to be both of their friends without hurting the other. However, she decides she needs to try and make it work somehow, she doesn’t want to lose either of them.

This story has it all there are ups and downs, it’s emotional and amazing and there is twists and turns that you won’t see coming but it’s a great story!! I loved the chemistry between the characters, getting to know them better and rooting for them to succeed when they face uphill battles. I’d definitely recommend it to others!

Baked goods!!

Thea Montgomery, baker extraordinaire :-) from this beautiful family I have come to love. Her bf Molly has divorced Dimitri and they all have been friends forever. Now, Dimitri sees Thea in another light, more like the one that got away. I love how they are so compatible, and when they realize there is something between them more than friendship it’s super hot. But they have to overcome that ex of her bff thing.
Loved it!!

The narration is great. Very enjoyable voice :-)

Restless Ink

The Audio performance by Joe Arden was amazing. His voice fits the characters so well.

Restless Ink is the 2nd book of 3 in the Montgomery Ink: Colorado Springs series. MI: CS is a continuation of the Original MI cousins.

Thea & Dimitri are such a great fit. I really loved this book. Each of the Montgomery Ink (& spin-offs) books gets that much better and leaves me on edge waiting for the next couple to meet their match. I love this crazy ex storyline and no one is as crazy as Molly.

Thea is running her own bakery, just a few doors down from her sister & brother's tattoo shop MI2. While trying to expand her business Thea is stuck in the middle of two divorced friends - Molly & Dimitri. She's trying to repair her friendship with Dimitri but is finding herself with more that a friendship on her hands, and the guilt is going to get to her.
Dimitri is finding it harder and harder to stay away from Thea. He's never had feeling for her before, but is now seeing her in a different light. Having been left with few friends after the divorce, and trying to settle into what is now his new life, Dimitri starts hanging out with Thea's family and friends leaving them with lots of time to get to know each other again.

Good book!

This second book of this series was a pretty good book. Thea and Dimitri were a well written couple that were both having issues in life - Thea with looking for happiness in both her bakery and her personal life and Dimitri dealing with the after affects of his divorce. The pair come together with amazing chemistry despite Thea's issues with Dimitri being her friend as well as the ex husband of what she considered her best friend as well. The story moved along well and there were a few twists that I did not see coming. I enjoyed the return of the characters from the previous book as well as the introduction of a few new characters that I hope we will see more of. The audio version of this book was performed by Joe Arden and while it was an enjoyable book to listen to, I think that it would have benefited from an additional narrator so that Thea's side of the story could be better portrayed. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend this book to others.

Dimitri and Thea

This is the second book in the Colorado Springs spin-off of the Montgomery Ink series and anyone who has listened to any one of the "Montgomery" books knows what a loving and strong family they are. Not just blood family members but their partners and friends are all supported. It's one of the things I love about them.

In this book we have Thea Montgomery, she is the owner of a bakery in Colorado Springs where Dimitri works as a maths teacher. He used to be married to her friend Molly but since the divorce, her friendship with Dimitri has been strained, perhaps because Molly has made it so? Thea introduced them originally so maybe that's another reason.

When they meet up again, Thea is feeling vulnerable having experienced a disappointing night with someone else something she really regrets. But there is a really stong connection between her and Dimitri, the chemistry is palpable but Thea doesn't want to upset her friend Molly, so she is very conflicted about pursuing a relationship with Dimitri although she really does want to.

Dimitri is still in touch with his ex-wife as his dog Captain is still living at her place while Dimitri looks for somewhere to live which will allow him to bring Captain. I love a man who loves his dog!

Dimitri is finding it harder and harder to stay away from Thea. He's never had feelings for her in the past but now he sees her in a different light. He was left with few friends after the divorce, a thing that anyone who has been through this knows. He's trying to adapt to his new life, Dimitri starts hanging out with Thea's family and friends which means lots of time to get to know each other again.

I really loved Dimitri, he was a big strong guy with a soft center, he loved Thea, he loved Captain, he loved the kids he taught - what's not to love? Oh, and he has tatts!

I really liked the connection which Dimitri and Thea have, and I thought the way that they dealt with the situation was good. They were aware of the potential issues but didn't let them hold them back.

There were new people introduced into the story too so hopefully, we'll meet them in future books.

The narration of this book by Joe Arden is excellent, he brings all the characters to life, and there are lots of them the Mongomeries are a large family! I had previously read the book but listening to this audio version took the story to a whole new level.

I was lucky enough to receive this audiobook as a gift and this review is written voluntarily and contains only my personal thoughts.

Loved this book more as a audible

Book 2 of the Montgomery Ink Colorado Springs series by Carrie Ann Ryan.
This book is based around Thea Montgomery and Dimitri.
Thea own a bakery in Colorado Springs and Dimitri is a maths teacher, they were friends until Dimitri divorce his wife molly and Thea BF after that the friendship between Thea and Dimitri became weird because Molly sort of played sides but Thea hadn’t really realised this until it was way too late.
Thea and Dimitri reconnected and sparks ignited.
This book is a very slow burner and takes a lot of time building the relationship and friendship between them. I also love that all the other previous characters come out for game night and your introduced more to other siblings like the Carrs Dimitri brothers and sister.
I’ve got to admit I enjoyed this book more as a audible then when I read it. Joe Arden wasn’t a favourite at start but I’m definitely liking his narrative voice especially way he does the guys voices.
Love the spin offs to Montgomery ink but it’s getting harder to keep track with so many characters being introduced into series.
Great epilogue and HEA.

Loved These two

I loved Dimitri and Thea. I love stories that are friends that realize they could be something more. The small bump in this for the two is that Dimitri is divorced from Thea’s best friend. You watch as the two navigate this new dynamic and how Thea feels she needs to make sure her friend is ok with the situation as she doesn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. She runs a bakery that she is hoping to expand and she has a lot going on in her life that she isn’t sure she has time for someone else. Dimitri is sure that he wants to have this relationship with Thea. He is all about doing what he has to to see where it is going to go. I don’t want to spoil anything but there are some great twists at the end and a lead in to the next family members book. Great read as always.

Loved Joe Arden as the reader. He did a great job. Recommend this listen.

Loved It!

Another great Montgomery story. I love the Montgomery Ink Series, every book I have read or listened to has a different twist I didn't see coming. Thea is my favorite Montgomery, I love to bake and she's a baker, and owns her own shop. She a strong woman who is perfectly okay focusing on her career first, this made my day, running a bakery is hard work <3.

Then you meet Dimitri, and its like hot teacher fantasy from high school coming back. We all have that one teacher we thought was so cute, he is that with a tattoo twist, beard and a whole lot of yummy muscles. The storyline was the perfect amount of passion and kept me wanting more until the end. I could not stop listening, can't wait for the next one.

Thank you Carrie Ann Ryan for another awesome book <3

Amazing Read

I really love Dimitri and Thea's story. The way the story unfolded of the two of them is truly enjoyable. I really enjoy listening to Joe Arden narrate this story that is written by Carrie Ann Ryan. I haven't yet found one story by Carrie Ann Ryan not to be full of emotion and the way she writes keeps you wanting more. I truly loved being able to listen to Restless Ink.
