I LOVED IT!

I loved it! The narration was great! The author did an amazing job with the character builds and plot. I have enjoyed every book in this series! I can't wait to read more books by this author! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Awesome Story & Narration🎧 Riveting & Heartfelt!

Sedona Hutton does it again, she writes another wonderful novel and a great addition to her “Racing Hearts in Serenity” series. The book grabbed my attention right from the start and held it straight to the end. I love how much heart Ms. Hutton puts in her stories, the storylines and characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with. This book is mainly Curtis “CC” Clarke and Holly Nicholson’s story, they were each other’s first love and years later the are both back in Serenity. Holly finished Veterinary school and she bought and took over the local Veterinary Practice, plus the house and property that came with it. Curtis came back to Serenity the owner shut down his NASCAR Truck racing team. He is working construction/carpentry until he gets on another team. The two have not seen each other in years but it is clear that they both harbor feelings for each other. Holly is free of her fiancé after she sees his true colors. It frees her to think about her past and why she broke up with Curtis years before, she has other issues as well. In addition to Holly and CC’s drama and rekindling, there is a storyline for Skye & Rob, other secondary characters make appearances too, and it is great to see Clare is doing well, she has a new love interest, Hud. Nora and Davey are doing great as is AJ & Elle, who got married. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the story is beautifully plotted and has a natural flow to it. It is the type of book that you do not want to put down because you want to know what happens next, you care about the characters and their relationships. Sedona Hutton, thank you for another enjoyable and entertaining book, the journey and the emotional rollercoaster ride.

Terri England is a fabulous narrator and voice artist. She continues to bring the characters and their story to life. She covers the roles for all the characters, gives each their own distinct voice making it easy to follow along and tell who is who. She does an amazing job portraying each character, grasping their persona with perfection, she captures all their emotions which can be heard in her performance. She is a talented and entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen

Race Cars and Romance

High school sweethearts are reunited years later, but their separate lives might keep them from the love they've always shared in this sweet romance about a NASCAR driver and a large animal veterinarian.
There's plenty of "should we - shouldn't we" drama in this story along with a well meaning family determined to help and a second romance side story to show them how it's done.
I enjoyed the story although, with all that was going on, it sometimes seemed a bit too busy and, for a serious NASCAR fan during a pandemic, there can never be enough on track drama.
A good read if you're a fan of NASCAR, or even if you just love second time around romances.

Sweet

This is a sweet romance with a little heat. The story was well thought out, and the characters are all believable. The only reason I gave it three stars out of four was the amount of repetition. I understood the reasons why being together seemed insurmountable, but the reasons were brought up frequently without the addition of any new nuance or possible solution. That repetition took up a good portion of the book, So, if that doesn't bother you, these high school sweethearts finding their way to true love might just be the story for you.

The past comes back for a sweet ending

You don't need to be a Nascar fan to enjoy this story. A sweet romance with characters you connect with and a story you want to finally end well. My only complaint is the female lead; she's a tad winy and untrusting for my taste.
