A royal romance

I enjoy royal romances, and this sweet royal romance was no exception. The character development of Prince Henry as he learns to live up to his royal responsibilities and court the woman he loves is very cute.

More Fun than the Last!

This modern fairytale has the perfect precocious prince, Henry. He likes a bit of fun and doesn’t care that people judge him for it. On the inside, he is sweet, loving, and endearing; whether the media chooses to portray him that way or not.
Our heroine, is truly heroic and not only saves the day for Henry, but also for children with long-term health problems.
I loved the story of a strong, independent, self-assured woman and a man who knows what he wants, goes after it, and loved sacrificially.
I received an ARC copy of this audiobook and I’m leaving a voluntary review.

MY TAKE
It was fun to see Henry again. We got to meet him in some of the other stories in this series. It was nice to know there was more to him than his surface reputation--and, to be honest, his action--showed. Adrianne was a sweet woman with a great heart. And a bit of an attitude which was what Henry needed to shake him up a bit.

I listened to the audiobook, and the narrator did a decent job. I liked the narrator for the shorter works better, and I had to speed the play just a bit because it kind of dragged. Easy fix though. A sweet romance.

Clean, sweet royal romance

Story: 3.5 stars

The story is decently well-developed as we follow Prince Henry's change from 'Playboy Prince' to a man with a mission. It's a sweet story and our heroine is believably reluctant to allow the prince into her heart. (Her character is wonderful, by the way!) The Prince's character improves as the book goes on. We readers are allowed into his motivations for the changes he makes and that's very important, otherwise, said changes would have felt feel insincere.

Narrator: 3 stars

The narrator does a good job! There are a few voices that didn't do it for me: the king's voice strains her lower range too much and the cousin who like horses (sorry! forgot his name) has a voice that is too high for a grown man (at least in my opinion). That said, most of the voices were fine- it was read very well and with good emotion, cadence and rhythm. I'd happily listen to her again!

Rescuing the Prince along the way

A wonderful clean royal romance!
The Narrator Christine Dylan did a wonderful job, and I really enjoyed the story.
I look foward to more in the future from both this author and the narrator!

A nice cheesy story

I enjoyed listening to this book, although had to ignore the really cheesy names of places or terms. It was a nice light hearted HEA and I would recommend it to others who enjoy HEAs.

A sweet, gentle story

This was a well-written, well-narrated sweet romance. The prince at first comes off as spoiled and privileged, but the author skillfully shows how he grows and how he's not as shallow as his reputation makes him out to be.

I would have liked it to be a bit longer, but it hit all the right notes. I believe it's a series, and I'm interested to delve more into the stories of some of the other family members.
