Warlord Lufar spent over 20 years looking for the right female, and he finally found her in the most unexpected of places - in his dreams. His "Female of the Mist", as he had named her, met him every night in his dreams and begged him to help her. His heart told him that she was the one he had been searching for and he knew she was in danger. He had to find her, rescue her, and bring her home to Ceres. But how? The universe was a big place, and she was out there somewhere. He prayed to the one God to help him find her. Will his prayers be answered? Will he reach her in time?

Very Entertaining!

I absolutely loved this story. Well written and very entertaining. The characters were wonderful. This story had just the right amount of angst, sex and romance. I was engaged during the entire book and I’m looking forward to reading more from this author. Bridget Brislin was able to create a good sci fi alien book. I liked the characters and the story line. The pacing was good and the flow worked for me. The narration was amazing!! He really captured the uniqueness of each character and brought them to life!! This is book 2 in this series but can be read as a standalone!
I recommend this book.

Interesting Storyline

The situations women find themselves in is so graphic and horrific. I was hoping to hear more about blowback to Isabelle’s family after she was abducted. This story would definitely activate triggers for some. Kufar was a good male for Isabelle. Narrator did a great job as usual. On to the next story.

Help me

Isabella had to run away from home hoping to start a new life. But when she woke up, she found herself in a cage. She didn't know where she was or how she got there. She was terrified! The only escape was when she dreamed of a Devilman. Horns and red skin with lots and lots of muscle. Her captors suddenly moved her cage and sold her to a vampire alien. It keeps getting worse as he grabbed her hand and bit her. And kept sucking her blood! Yuck! He drained her almost dry. The only escape was through her dreams. In her last dream, she begged her devilman to come save her. Lufar was dream sharing with Isabella. He heard her plea for help. He recognized her as his forever mate. He knew where she was and flew across the galaxy to get her. After threatening to blow up the planet, he found where she was. He saw four aliens fighting to bite her and he went into the " Rage ". Bones cracking, spines along his back, enlarging muscles, he killed so of them. He gently picked her up and left the planet. But that was only the beginning! She was traumatized but Lufar was patient. Ceres men was not patient, but he knew that was the only way. Finally she healed enough to look to the future. Her future with Lufar. There's alot more but you will have to read \listen to the book. This is the second book in this series. Bridget Brislin is an amazing author and J T Farrell's voice is to die for. I am ready for book three. It is so different to hear the characters voices. Audiobooks give the readers away to live through the book. I beg you to try it. Of course, this is for Adults only.

Warlord Lofar and his Female In The Mist

Isabelle has a loveless life at the start of this book and wants to run away with her boyfriend after high school but gets abducted by aliens. Poor girl goes from one sad situation right into a worse one where she is passed off to various alien groups until she is taken by a vampire type of alien race who almost drain her life from her. She dreams of her Demon man who she wants to save her.

Lofar doesn’t give up hope of finding his dream female who begs him to save her. And he does come for her but she’s been ravaged by the vampires (the Faradtu). He brings her home to his world and slowly nurses her back to life. But she doesn’t know if she can be what he needs.

It’s a terrifying start to the book, but it show compassion and nurturing once Lofar and Isabelle find each other. He helps bring her back to life. It has a wonderful twist when Isabelle meets Mia too!

JT’s performance was fantastic in this second book of the series and it’s why I preferred this book over the first so far. JT makes more distinction between the characters in this book and I throughly enjoyed this audiobook.

Great Sci-fi romance

So this book definitely has a dark side but once you get to her mate it is no longer dark. He is so patient and kind to her. I really enjoyed this and was glad that Lufar finally got a mate of his own. He helps Isabelle through her ptsd as much as he knows how too. So yes this book starts out on the dark side but ends with the hea you hoped for.

Good one

The story is good, well written and the characters are well created.
The narrator is very good and makes the story even better. very nice voice.
The story is about a abused girl/young woman running away from home, she is taken and sold to some unknown planet. How she gets away from her evil buyer and how her life turns after having horrible time at this strange planet you have to listen.
Overall I had good time listening and like good love story we hope everyone has happy ending.
