Publisher's summary

Ruddy McCann is back in Repo Madness - the laugh-out-loud, thrilling adventure from best-selling author W. Bruce Cameron!

Ruddy McCann, former college football star, now Kalkaska, Michigan, repo man, is finally getting his life back on track. He has a beautiful fiancée, Katie Lottner; a somewhat stable job stealing cars; and a lazy, lovable basset hound.

With his job suddenly in jeopardy, his fiancée wanting a break, and a new court-ordered psychiatrist insisting he take his medication or violate the terms of his probation, Ruddy finds himself missing the one thing he thought he would be happy to be rid of - the voice of Alan Lottner, dead realtor and Ruddy's future father-in-law. When a woman tells Ruddy that the tragedy that defines his life may in fact be a lie, Ruddy starts to investigate the disappearances of women in the area and soon discovers that his own redemption may be within reach.

Alan's voice returns, and Ruddy and Alan work together to bring down a corrupt banker, win back Katie's love, and stop a serial killer before he can strike again.

Nicely Done

It kept my interest going throughout the whole 2 books. I hope he writes more and more in the future.

What happens?

I REALLY enjoyed the first book, and this one was almost as good. I like R.C. as a narrator, but I wish they'd gotten the same narrator as the first book. I missed the clear difference between Ruddy's voice and Alan's. I enjoyed the story line, but he left some questions unanswered. That's fine if there's a 3rd book, but it's been 6 years since #2 was published and there's no #3 yet. Doesn't leave me with much hope. This was still a good listen and good use of a credit. I just hope I get to find out what happens next.

Bruce Cameron does it again!

One of the most amazing things about reading a Bruce Cameron novel is the incredible diversity of his characters and writing style. Whether the main character/narrator is a dog, a prehistoric human being or a modern day repo man, it never feels forced or unnatural.
This is the second book I have listened to in the repo man series. This story keeps you on the edge of your seat as the plot twists and turns in the most surprising ways.
I loved it and couldn’t wait to get back in my car (which is where I listen to my audio books) to hear the next chapter.
The narrator did an excellent job.
A great book. I hope there are more to come about the fascinating and never dull life of repo man, Ruddy!

as good as the first!

I really loved the story! same suspense and humor from the first. the only complaint is the change of the narrator. changed the dynamics of the characters from the first books, still very enjoyable though.

Captivating

The Repo Man could be made into a mini series. It kept me intrigued throughout with it’s twist and turns. Perfectly narrated, and written.

Better than the last one!

Great story, I love the humor and would probably be totally in love with Ruddy if I knew him in person. I'm so glad Alan came back too. And Jake... 💖💖💖

ok

I like Bray as a narrator, but I really missed George as the voices of Ruddy and Alan.

So much fun

I am glad to ave discovered Ruddy as performed by the previous narrator, but I really enjoy RC Bray and am delighted to have him narrate this story. I really like these characters. I feel like I have ew friends. The plots are interesting and simple enough for me to follow. I hate it when too many characters are involved. I like this family and I do hope this isn't the last book about them.
