This book follows JH Sander's "Dangerous Gambles" and finds the Roadhouse Sons on a new mission. In contrast to many sequels, this is, if anything, a more complex story than the first one. Characterizations are deepened as the band copes with trauma from their previous adventure and the ongoing frustration of the political situation. Narrator is excellent.
