Bold Bible Teacher Empowers Women to Live Free from Comparison and Rivalry

In this day of challenge and opportunity, women have been the victims of constant comparison and rivalry. It has robbed the church of the feminine voice and contribution that would make her strong. In a wild, vibrant, and relatable style, Lisa challenges women to:

  • Embrace the fact that God loves us uniquely rather than equally
  • Realize their undisputed calling
  • Reconnect to their divine identity
  • Dismantle the rivalries that keep us from God's fullness

There has never been a more desperate need for us to discover who we are and why we are daughters without rival, loved by a god without rival, entrusted with a promise without rival, to complete an assignment without rival, that is destined for an eternity without rival.

Includes questions for personal reflection and small group discussion plus additional questions designed for use with Insights to a Life Without Rival video sessions.

Some great points, but

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I think this book might be better enjoyed read than as a audio book. The author quotes long bible passages which are better absorbed by reading off the page.

Beautiful

I loved the book! In the first chapter I cried so much. Only because she helped me to see how much God loves me and how much he genuinely cares about me. Definitely an inspiration and revealed to me how destructive insecurity really is and how much The Holy Spirit wants to be apart of our lives daily to aid and remind us who we are in Christ. Great inspiration for teens and any woman ❤

Every girl needs to hear this! And every man!

Lisa nailed it- the rival and gender problems women have with each other and men. She also tells great stories on how to overcome and rise up to be the mighty women of God we are meant to be!

Women of America take your place

This is truth, we must take our place, as God's called with humility. We must be stripped of pride and make Him Lord of all.

Great book but hard for me to listen to.

This was a great book- the message was clear and very applicable.
The audio version was difficult for me to listen to. I had to speed her up a little and even so it kinda had a robot way of speaking.
I would have stopped listening- but the message was so great.

I learned so much from this book. It explained so many things about God that had puzzled me. It gave me a new outlook on my Christian walk. I would highly recommend this to any woman who needs to feel loved by God! Lisa is an amazing strong Christian woman who puts things in perspective for the common woman to understand!

Definitely a book that will influence your destiny into all that God has for you!!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Lisa Bevere has explored and unpacked the subject of living without rival. Rival is something we all at sometime face and are confronted with the decision of how we will respond. Lisa's personal stories, biblical presentation and testimonies of people of faith will challenge and encourage you to understand and know your identity in Christ and who he has called you to be!!

I got lost half way, but loved the initial themes.

What did you like best about Without Rival? What did you like least?

I loved the theme about fierceness and uniqueness and it's an interesting glimpse into how God sees us.

What was most disappointing about Lisa Bevere’s story?

I got lost halfway - as soon as Lisa started talking about characters that I couldn't relate to or follow their stories.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Lisa Bevere?

Yes, most likely.

If this book were a film would you go see it?

No, it's not that kind of book.
