Investigate the Infinite Beyond Death

In the search for truth, there is only one question that needs to be answered: Who am I? This inquiry into the self is the core of advaita vedanta (radical nondualism), a timeless teaching for breaking free of mental bonds and reclaiming your true identity: the infinite that is beyond death.

In Who Are You?, American-born spiritual teacher Gangaji spells out the bedrock principles of self-inquiry, a cluster of no-nonsense concepts that reveal how to effortlessly step outside limited psychological conditioning and mental constructs into the freedom, expansiveness, and peace of your own true nature.

Recommend Diamond in Your Pocket

I listened to Diamond in Your Pocket first. It was the words I needed. I am grateful. Truly a revelation and was the equivalent of a black and white flat world filling to 3-D with every color imaginable. Being a cult survivor prevents me from trusting any guru so my journey has continued with many teachers. Gangaji, Jack Kornfield, and several other Eastern thought teachers have joined George Eloitt, Victor Hugo, Tolstoy, Virginia Woolf, Jesus, e.e. cummings, and so many others who helped me on my way.

Ram Das, how I wish you had not espoused LSD, which was too mixed an experience to be included in my journey. I might have been Hindi or Buddhist and skipped the cult 😀. Nah, I’m grateful for every step of my journey even the very dark parts. At least I learned, eventually, that the answers are only inside us, each and all.

But I digress... This very short book might have 1 1/2 new ways to say old ideas that were not expressed in the Diamond book and repeats many others that were expressed the same way in the Diamond book. I was hoping for something worthy of a whole new book. Maybe the Diamond book was written after this book?

I enjoyed this listen immensely!

I became aware of her via You Tube years ago,but I guess I was not ready to receive her message at that time. I came to purchase this in distress and seeking. I really feel that she gave me a realization and path that I have forgone all this time. I am with the deepest gratitude and reverence to hear such a simple truth yet elusive understanding of our true selves presented so eloquently.
