Have you ever wondered about "the five points"? What do they really mean? You've heard of Reformed theology, but you're not certain what it is. It appears to be important, and you'd like to know more about it. But you want a full, understandable explanation, not a simplistic one. In this insightful book, R. C. Sproul will walk you through the foundations of the Reformed doctrine and explain how the Reformed belief is centered on God, based on God's Word, and committed to faith in Jesus Christ. I would give him 6 stars but.....

RC Sproul has helped me with truth about My savior and God in many of his teachings and books that compliment the Gods word, I highly recommend this book because it will give you an amazing understanding of what true Protestantism has taught for hundreds of years and not the kind of Christianity that has no substance or root.

Don't Miss it!

This is is excellent treatise of the Reformed Faith. I cannot imagine a clearer presentation of these most needed Biblical truths, expecially in our generation. Listen and live!

Good Explanation of a Hard Subject

If you could sum up What Is Reformed Theology in three words, what would they be?

Reformed made simpler... As in Reformed Theology for dummies.

What was one of the most memorable moments of What Is Reformed Theology?

Nothing stands out but the concepts are drilled down on to give the lay person a basis for understanding.

What does Marc Cashman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He is a good narrator for a dry subject. Not monotonous at all.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Oh no. A difficult subject and requires attention and rereading

Thi sis stuff everyone needs to know.

Where does What Is Reformed Theology rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's up there. It's accessible to those without formal theological training, yet it's not elementary level either.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

TULIP: P = Perseverance or Preservation, this discussion was particularly interesting

Any additional comments?

Makes me want to read some of RC Sproul's other books.

A must read/listen to - for every Christian !

This was another great book by RC Sproul. He is very articulate and clear in his teaching style, and it is such a pleasure to be able to listen to and not just read his books. The narrator was not bad to listen to even though it was not read by Mr. Sproul.

Logical. To the point. Little fluff

He appeals to scripture and let's scripture interpret itself. It's very logical and to the point. Almost slowly obvious at times, but that's necessary for clarity as well.

Great introduction to Reformed theology

This is a great introduction to the basics of reformed theology by a well respected theologian.
It is clear and informative. Good book for all who want to learn and grow. The book requires careful listening, so don't rush it unless you have a good grasp of the topics. Personally I think I will listen to it again later :)

The narration is fine, I only wish the pauses between chapters/parts were a little bit longer.
