Publisher's summary

Heaven has received a lot of attention in recent years as best-selling books and movies have told the stories of people who claim to have been there. But what does the Bible actually say about heaven? What difference does it make? What happens the moment after we die? What will our relationships be like in heaven?

Chip Ingram sets aside the hype and myths and digs into scripture to discover what God actually wants us to know about the hereafter. Most importantly, Ingram shows why our understanding of heaven matters now, in this life. Because what we believe about heaven actually affects us today in ways we may not have imagined.

Eternally life changing

This is a must read for Christians at any level, and those interested in understanding heaven, Christ, and God’s heart. This is my first ever audible review and this book is too good to not share.

Thanks Chip for this outstanding piece about heaven. I recommend this for all pastors to tech their congregation about the real heaven. And for everyone who desires to live eternally in heaven after death

Biblically correct and helpful

I like narrators with stronger voices, hard to explain but he had that dreamy tone that puts me to sleep in church. LOL Content was on point. This book has helped me answer questions posed by my family.

Great!!!

This book covers what Heaven will really be like. Not what we think, but straight from God’s Word. Definitely worth your time😃

True Encouragement!

This book takes scripture and explains Heaven, Rapture, 7 years of Tribulation, millennial period, Satin, our heavenly bodies...... please read through the appendixes as well. If you don’t believe, before you turn down the promise, know what it is.

Frustrating, often arrogant

Just when you think you'll get an answer to a question posed, you get, "in this book, we'll discuss...." and on and on for CHAPTERS. "Where's the beef?" The book could be edited down into about three chapters and cover everything necessary. I didn't care for the authors' negating other people's NDE's or actual death experiences (i.e., Don Piper [though not directly named] who has an extremely believable account of Heaven in a book also published by Baker! What does this imprint stand for, anyway?) The narrator would sliiiide into words, bordering on sarcasm, and at times I felt he would start scatting jazz. Not a comfortable listen.
