Publisher's summary

There continue to be many questions concerning the "Rapture" of the Church and its apparent contrast with the "Second Coming" of Jesus Christ. Where does this strange view come from? Is the term "rapture" even in the Bible?

Clearly, the idea of the Rapture can be considered the most preposterous belief in Biblical Christianity. The situation regarding the doctrine of the Rapture is painfully similar to the famous quote by Dr. Richard Feynman, speaking of quantum physics:

"I think it is safe to say that no one understands quantum mechanics...in fact, it is often stated of all the theories proposed in this century, the silliest is quantum theory. Some say that the only thing that quantum theory has going for it, in fact, is that it is unquestionably correct."

Stay Alert, Watch and Pray - get this book!

While we watch and pray for that great Catching Away, it's so wonderful to gain insight and to be reminded, lest we too fall asleep and fail to remain alert (like the 5 unwise virgins). Dr Chuck Missler remains ever sensitive to Gods leading, and I like many others, so appreciate his sharing this gift with the rest of us. "Even so, Come Lord Jesus"

Who said what at the last supper

I’m sure it was either a typo or a slip of the tongue, but the narrator said it backwards. Jesus told Judas to go do what he was going to do, Judas didn’t tell Jesus that.
Marvelous book though.

A Great Overview of the Coming Prophecy

A well-researched, well-explained history and exposition of what the Bible says about The Rapture, how it is not unlike other examples in the history of the Bible: Enoch, Noah, Isaac etc. are similitudes to the concept of future "Blessed Hope"--that is, Jesus will remove/take His " Bride" from the earth before the son of perdition is known (anti-Christ) to the world. Sound, Biblical and effective exposition of what the Bible really says about end times and the rapture.

certainly, this book should be read more than once. I am on my 4th read. the references are exquisite.and you really should sit down and jot them down. It will help us to remember in the future what I think we need to know. What a great book.

Good Hypothesis But Not True

I listened to it twice as the rapture is Jewish dogma gone astray and the author tries to lead Christians down the wrong path using the rapture and Daniel to blaze the trail for him, but book was thought provoking but again, there is no rapture and the transition after death is instantaneous as Jesus said it on the cross and that's enough for me.

Chuck Missler is Truly inspired

Chuck Missler is very deep and learned and well spoken. I’ve listen to his book 3 times because it is so packed with incredible information. All cross referenced with other scripture old and New Testament.
