The NIV Listener's Audio Bible

Staci at Grace Community Church in Fort Smith Arkansas gave me a compact Zondervan NIV Bible end of 2016. I can listen to this Audio Bible and follow along in my Bible. I want to read through the whole Bible this year. I have a hard time staying focused and this is helping me so much and
making it so enjoyable. Thank you for providing this audio Bible!

I love this book

I love this book...very well read and understandable...worth every penny...try it you will like it

I finished this NIV today.

I love the NIV. But the reading of this did not sound encouraging. Many times the voice seemed mean and harsh.

Highly recommended!

If you've ever wanted to read the Bible but found it difficult to keep up with it, I highly recommend this performance by Max. I used his audio and read along with my Bible. It helped a great deal and I enjoyed it!

Amazing! - But hard to navigate between chapters..

I love the narration performed by Max McLean; In fact, it is excellent! The only issue I have with this audiobook is the format. There are 66 books in the Bible and only 20 chapters in this book. If I want to hear Revelations, I must start at James. That makes the process a little more difficult, but this is still the best audio bible I have found.

Divided into Books

I found this impossible to use, it is one book divided into chapters. I bought the book primarily to learn the correct pronouncing of names and places. The Bible is divided into books - chapter- verse. If you have never read through the Bible and that is you only goal this audio Bible would be fine.

Satisfied Customer

I love the Listener’s Bible because it simulates my faith in the Blessed Triunity by the hearing of the written and inspired word of God. I am able to pronounce difficult words and names properly. I also find it helpful to recall scripture and I feel a sense of heightened learning because I can go the entire Bible within a week at a pace that encourages continuous replay each week.

The only thing that you can actually are able to find is the book of Genesis and it is because is the first one, its been broken in chapter by numbers, you have to guess the book that you are looking for. The narrator is really good, if you play and let it play there is no problem there.

Very well read and easy to understand

I was pleased with the smoothness of the presentation and the clarity of the speakers. I listened to the entire Bible while I was on my dailey walk and did not miss a single word.

Wonderful Way to Educate Yourself

I've had very little Bible education up until this year during the lockdown. However, I have been in various 12 step groups for 40 years so I've known God and His ways since June 10th, 1980. I wanted to learn more about the bible since I was baptized a few years ago but wasn't highly motivated until this spring when hearing the TRUTH became really important and a woman was teaching a bible study class on zoom. We have been mostly studying Revelation since everything really does look like the end times of late. Anyway, I began going to a church in Chino Hills which has a huge congregation and the pastor teaches the bible. So after a few weeks, I got this book on Audible and began listening to it at night when I was trying to sleep. I have listened while I am awake but it has often been that I drift off to sleep and then wake up for something really important. It's funny how this education has been given to me so gently. I really appreciate the reader's voice.
