Have you struggled with the promises of healing in the Holy Bible, not understanding why you could not make them yours? Have you, like me, tried reading, listening, confessing, and everything else you can think of, only to fall back into sickness again?
Would you like to learn the truth about Biblical healing, once and for all, in a way that is understandable and easy to apply to your own life?
Walk with me through my healing journeys and learn what God taught me about healing as I struggled to understand, and came out healed from every effect of a hemorrhagic stroke that nearly killed me.
This book was very good. Receiving healing seems easy on the surface but is also missing from the majority of the children of God. The author journeys through her own experience to obtain healing and explains in a simple to understand way how we all can have what God wants for us. It is very entertaining and honest.
I highly recommend as a wonderful tool to help you be what God wants you to be.
If anyone is worried about being bored to tears from having to listen to a healing book, you are in for quite a surprise. On the "Boring to Excitement Scale of 1-10," I would give this book a 10 + + +.
The story is very well written and captivating. The narration is fluid and not at all choppy.
God told Glynda that she couldn't write a story unless she personally had one to tell. This story will at times have you on the edge of your seat wincing at the pain she suffered.
You will feel your faith rise to new levels as you are taken through the steps to receive the healing that God wants for you.
As part of God's Covenant you are entitled to be healed and Glynda explains why.
Chock-full of scriptures, the Healing Companion will keep you captivated from beginning to end as you are taught sound biblical principles of how to press in, fight the enemy, and get healed. Be encouraged! Be healed!
I have read and listened to many healing teachings and this is absolutely the best I’ve ever found. Glynda Lomax shares her personal health battles and spiritual victories over her illnesses and it is incredibly inspirational. Her utilization of scripture throughout the book is very balanced and so powerful. I was particularly impressed with how she included the various types of illnesses that come from different kinds of spiritual attack and addressed the various hinderences that can be encountered that will attempt to block receiving recovery and healing. Glynda has also shared how to walk into a deeper and purer faith in Christ Jesus that will lead us all to greater spiritual depths and understanding. Thank you for obeying God and writing this book!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would highly recommend! This book is a must! Glenda endured pain, illness and sickness to not only teach us about God and His Word but also to have compassion for the pain we needlessly endure
Who was your favorite character and why?
Glenda's journey clearly shows us our own doubt, fear and unbelief that gives a right for us to be attacked. Through her perseverance with the help of the Holy Spirit and teaching our of Great Messiah, she learns the truth....the truth will set us free! She gives instruction on how to show ourselves approved. 2 Timothy 2:15 This book definitely helps with binding the flesh and focusing more in our lives in the Spirit.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I realized that I was accepting the lies of poverty, lack, illness and debt. This is a sin and The Lord has and is still showing me how it is a sin. This book by Glenda has taught me to press into Jesus and He has started to remove blinders from my spirit to receive His word engrafted into my heart (James1:21) His word is true! John 10:10 The theif cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; I am come that they might have life, and have it in abundance
Any additional comments?
I am listening to the book again. The word is deep and Glenda has given to us a great morsel no meal to indulge in the Word of God, grow in GOD and develop a closer relationship with Him! Thank you Glenda! xoxoxoxoColleen
