Publisher's summary

Few people realize how much is known about what happens at and after death. Roberta Grimes has spent decades studying nearly 200 years of abundant and consistent afterlife evidence, principles of quantum mechanics and consciousness research, and other scientific insights to assemble a detailed understanding of the death process and the amazing realities that we enter at death.

Every human mind is eternal! We know now that living forever in a greater reality more wonderful than our most optimistic imaginings is our universal birthright. In The Fun of Dying: Find Out What Really Happens Next, Roberta lays out these facts in simple and understandable terms for people who are just beginning to explore what is known about the afterlife. Discovering what can now be demonstrated to be true about god, reality, death, the afterlife, and the meaning and purpose of human life turns out to be not about dying after all. It's a way to conquer every fear so you can live your most peaceful and empowered life.

Could not engage due to the reader’s voice

The author should have chosen a different person to read the audiobook. The voice totally disconnected me from the content. I tried to get get past it but just couldn’t.

Regret that I wasted my credit.

Lots of padding, little new or enlightening information. The narration is not the best.

Christian bias

As a non-Christian, this book made me cringe. She tries reconciling the research through the lens of Christianity and scripture. She leaves out a lot of important info that I’ve read from other NDE researchers. Also, she barley touches on reincarnation. I will give her credit though for covering the physics of energy and for defining “God” in an objective way. Skip this book unless you are a Christian who knows absolutely nothing about NDEs, then perhaps you’ll find comfort in knowing what comes next…just know that there’s a lot more than what is discussed in this book.

Ahhh

I wanted to love this (and I know this sounds judgmental) but I cannot listen to her voice for more than 5 minutes. It feels like I'm at a public library on a Saturday morning listening to a librarian trying to breath life into story. Content was interesting nevertheless...

All true

Everything she said is completely true. I have read hundreds of books on the subject and can cross verify with other terrific works.

Not a good position on death

Did not expect the anti Christian verbiage. I did not like this at all even though my mother did

Loved the content, really didn’t like the voice.

It’s my opinion that whenever an author narrates their own books, it seems more like a class than a soothing book. I’m sure authors feel that they can read their own books better because of their familiarity with the content, a soothing voice is a gift. Everyone can’t read and make it sound interesting unless it’s a comedy narrated by a comedian.

Let go of the old beliefs

This book was easy to take in and it helped confirm how limiting and superstitious our belief systems really are. I was blown away at how honest and confident she shared her story and all that she has researched and learned from those who have glimpsed or are in Eternity. Thank you.

A life changer!

This is a book that will truly change the way you live, and the way you feel about what's important, about religion, Jesus's teachings, death, and dying. (And for the better!) If you love learning about quantum physics but find it too complex to fully grasp, this book makes it make good, solid sense. What an inspiring read!
