Publisher's summary
The New American Standard Bible is one of the most accurate translations of the Scriptures, and the Book of Romans is one of the most informative books in the New Testament. Let professional voice artist Dale McConachie, author of over 100 audiobooks, take you on a narrated journey through Romans, where you will discover what it means to be justified (declared righteous) by God. Dale’s goal in this recording was to make a simple but reverent audio copy of God's Word that you can take with you everywhere you go: while you commute, in the kitchen, or at the gym. You can easily access any chapter of Romans at any time. It is the reader's prayer that many will, "Let the Word of Christ richly dwell" in them.

This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... We hope your new audio bible will go everywhere with you and be a blessing for years to come.

Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Story
Turning the other cheek does not mean standing by while the enemies of God dismantle Christian civilization and brainwash our children. Decrying the cowardice that masquerades as meekness, Eric Metaxas summons the Church to battle. An attenuated and unbiblical “faith” based on what Bonhoeffer called “cheap grace” has sapped the spiritual vitality of millions of Americans. Paying lip service to an insipid “evangelism,” they shrink from combating the evils of our time. Metaxas refutes the pernicious lie that fighting evil politicizes Christianity.

Good initially
What did you love best about The Book of Romans: The Voice Only New American Standard Bible (NASB)?
Great content well presented.
Who was your favorite character and why?
A doctrinal book, not a story but the content is faithfully delivered.
Have you listened to any of Dale McConachie’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No but it was great.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Christ came to set us free from our despairing and self-centered lives and give us life indeed.
Any additional comments?
A problem on second use. Got the message

Made a MAJOR blunder in Romans 4
Made a major blunder in Romans 4. the whole argument of chapter 4 is that Abraham did NOT consider his body. he made what would normally be a minor typographical or audio omission or mistake but it had great effect on the meaning of the passage for he says "Abraham considered his body".... anywhere else this would be an annoying mistake to passover but with the word of God such an error is dangerous.

High-pitch beeping is too distracting
The Book of Romans is excellent but there is a high-pitch random beeping noise that is so annoying I can't continue to listen after the first time. I do not recommend this book for that reason alone. There is an ESV, KJV and NKJV that are much better sound quality and I would recommend those instead of this version.
