Pressed the edges for me

My faith and my Christian experiences have not pushed so far into the supernatural as Havila's, but I never doubt the power of God, the creator of the universe and all that is in it, so I will not say I disbelieve. I truly enjoyed the challenges she put before me in this writing. I believe her portrayal of the devil and his angels is spot on and agree with her that Christians need to recognize this life for what it is - a battle between good and evil for our eternal souls. The devil's most powerful weapons are ignorance and complacence. This book reveals both.

Passionate and Engaging

This really surprised me, I enjoy listening to testimony and reflections on individual's faith from a spectrum of backgrounds and affiliations, often those I don't directly identify with. Havilah is very passionate in her writing and quickly engages the audience with personal stories and insights. The narrator does a wonderful job of conveying the writing. I enjoyed hearing the experiences the author had gone to and could really feel the call to action and engage with the material in one's own life.

Be reminded that He who is in us is Greater than he who is in the world

I find Havilah’s encouragement and insights are great reminders that our batalha in this world is already won. Many times we are brought down by the everyday circumstances and we don’t stop to listen to God. He is by our side wanting to encourage us and make us strong. We need to open our ears to listen to the Holy Spirit who lives within us!!! This is a great read!!! Be reminded and encouraged!
