Publisher's summary

Beloved author and ragamuffin Brennan Manning writes: "These souvenirs of solitude are the love story of my walk with God. Revisiting the lost silences of the past, I remember and record the intimate moments when I allowed the Lord to lure me into the wilderness and speak to my heart."

This book is a series of remembrances that Brennan recorded in the late 1970s. But as with all good remembrances, they have a timeless quality and a value for listeners today. Many of the themes that God has made the indelible marks of Brennan’s life are found in this wonderful book. Dominant among those themes is the astonishing, boundless love of God for us.

Beautiful reminder that we belong to Abba Father our daddy

This book reminds us that God is our Abba and he loves us for who we are not who we are supposed to be and it's a beautiful full picture of a God who is loving ,kind, and tenderhearted.
It would be helpful to have a Bible close to you as you listen to this audiobook as he shares some very good Scriptures to help in our understanding of us calling God Abba father. The narrator brings a special sense of warmth to the book to our hearts as we listen.
I highly recommend this book to those who want to feel closer to and more connected to Jesus
The epilogue sums it up very simply with the brightness of the resurrection. Alleluia being our song.
