There were six Western believers in Haifa on the night of the ascension of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá: Mr. John Bosch and Mrs. Louise Stapfer Bosch from Geyserville, California; Dr. Florian Krug and Mrs. Grace Krug from New York; and Fraulein Johanna Hauff from Stuttgart. All of them were there as pilgrims. The only other Western believer present in Haifa was Mr. Curtis Kelsey from New York, who was in Haifa to install electrical power plants to light the shrines of the Báb and Bahá’u’lláh.

Some Answered Questions includes a wide range of questions and answers compiled from a series of talks given by 'Abdu'l-Baha in 1904, 1905, and 1906 while at the supper table. The answers were given in reply to questions posed by visiting pilgrims, especially Laura Clifford Barney. Later these answers recorded in Persian were translated into French and English. They constitute a rich source of philosophical and spiritual wisdom with answers that often bypass conundrums or controversies which have limited debate for many centuries. Treating human subjects and human spiritual destiny as well as the nature of creation as inseparable, these answers altogether represent a vision which surpasses any given in the past and which will inform and balance the thought of much intellectual and spiritual life in the future.

Fascinating Journey!!
Some Answered Questions is a magnificent book and a must-read for everyone. It covers a lot of ground and discusses a wide range of questions. Reading this book was a fascinating journey for me and opened my eyes to many hidden realities that were previously unknown to me. I cannot see how a true seeker of divine knowledge could deny these amazing arguments.
I am truly unable to reflect what this book encompass. All I can say is that I am awestruck by the power of these words. This book has revived and strengthened my belief and faith in God and all His Exalted Manifestations.

Excellent book
Some Answered Questions is a rather quick look into Baha'i Divine philosophy. It answers some of our basic questions. This edition is also narrated beautifully. I highly recommend it to everyone.
