Science and Health posits a wholly metaphysical view of Christianity in which sin, disease, and death are not of God, and are therefore not real. He understands what he is reading, which is a great help to the listener. The previous recordings of Science and Health were read by professional readers who didn't understand what they were reading. Mr. Kidd has a very pleasant voice, which adds to the performance.
