You're restless. Trouble has you gasping beside the narrow road. This is your invitation back to the adventure.

Some Christians leave their relationship with God in a sealed box like a collectible that will be worth something someday. Not you. You wholeheartedly answered the call to follow him into the great adventure.

Then something unexpected happened that left you gasping beside the narrow road. You thought you were following Jesus, but now it feels as if all you're doing is running from a crazy man. Even knocked down, though, you seek the strength to continue the journey.

This isn't a book for the happily comfortable. This is a book for the restless Jesus lover, the long suffering disciple, the openhearted believer. Be forewarned. The challenges inside are designed to unsettle you as well as provide practical suggestions for thriving on the narrow road, even if trouble is your travel companion.

Running from a Crazy Man (and Other Adventures Traveling with Jesus) is a siren call to the modern believer that the God adventure can happen even when, like King David, you're running from a crazy man.

Wonderful book.

I saw the title of this book previously and didn't think it would be something I would enjoy but I loved it. I appreciate the authors sense of humor. I also felt the narration was well done and thoroughly enjoyed listening to her. I have listened to the book twice and plan to listen again.

I love this book

I am disabled and live with horrible chronic pain that even pain meds can’t touch, so obviously I deal with great loss and depression and this book came to me exactly when I needed it, the author touched on every emotion and pain I struggle with as a child of God expelling the myth that if you are saved you should never experience pain or suffering and that Jesus is there even when he falls silent in the valleys of our lives, and reminding me see my father in the wonders all around me. I would recommend this book to everyone, saved or unsaved, healthy or sick, deep connection with Jesus or have not yet found that all consuming love. It definitely falls in my top ten favorite books ever.
