This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Its a great way to take in the bible in a new way as you go about your daily business.
It often makes me smile the way it has been adapted into the "now" time.

NARRATOR HOLLERS
The book is excellent. The narrator is horrible. The narrator is constantly speaking as if he is yelling. It is impossible to listen to the book being read for purposes of prayer and peace when the narrator is yelling.

Well Done!. I have enjoyed listening to this book.

May be good for the youth to listen to...
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Did not enjoy this interpretation of the Scriptures...I believe it caters to a younger listener...
Would you ever listen to anything by Eugene H. Peterson again?
Maybe so...dependent upon what it is...he caters to a younger crowd...
